Prayers needed Please keep my friend and coworker, Stephanie's, family and boyfriend in your thoughts and prayers. She was killed last nite in a one vehicle accident on a bad stretch of road. Her boyfriend works with my dtr and is so devastated that his family had to remove his gun and knife collection from his house. Steph was a 100 lbs of spitfire, a bit of a rebel and as cute as she could be. She was 22 and will be missed by many. |

Thank you to those that offered prayers and those that took the time to read this thread. I want to add that Steph was the one that defended those that couldn't defend themselves, cared for those that needed caring for, always there to help those in need, and stood up for anyone who needed her to. She was all spunk and left behind 3 young cousins that she had taken under her wing who adored her. She was a tough little that worked in the lumber dept at Lowes. It was a horrific accident, she lost control on a bad curve. No alcohol was involved. She didn't deserve to die. Please keep her loved ones in your thoughts. Thank-you. |

How awful! So young. I am sorry you lost a friend and I will pray for her family and boyfriend as well. How do you handle loosing a child? I hope I never have to find out. |

Oh how horrible! Please know that everyone involved is in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine the pain of the family and ones who's life she has touched. |

Steph's funeral was heartwrenching. Jesse(her bf) had spent the last 2 yrs writing a song for her and had finally finished it a couple weeks before the accident. He sang it for her. He had also given her one of his dreadlocks that she always kept in her car. When she had the accident, she was able to get out of the car, call her Dad(but was unable to reach him) and was coherent enough to tell the paramedics that she was wearing her seatbelt. It happened in near of an elderly lady's house who lives alone. She heard the horn beeping but was frightened. The horn beeped for 4 minutes then stopped. That's when she called 911. While she was on the phone with 911, she had a heart attack. When the paramedics got Steph into the amb. she was clutching Jesse's dreadlock. She had no cuts - no blood - just bruising. She died on the way to the hospital of a ruptured aorta. She was buried with Jesse's dreadlock in her hand for everyone to see. It was so sad. It's horrible how many lives can be devastated in the blink of an eye. My heart and prayers go out to all those who have experienced any kind of tragedy like this. God Bless you all. |
