My sweet baby Alex is ill!!! I need your prayers please!
 

Hi everyone

I haven't been online much lately because I have had a few concerns about Alex for a while now...
One day last week I have discovered a bump on Alex's head but I could only feel it with my hand. Well, a couple of days after, I realised that I could actually see it. I went to the doctor with him as it started groing quite fast and they did some tests and took some x-rays.
Yesterday I have receive the test results and instead of ''just a bone'' like the doctors thought it was they discovered he has an epidermoid cyst that can cause problems when he'll grow up a bit. They have also discovered some thinning of the bone around the lump on his skull. We have an appointment soon with the specialist to speak about the surgery and some type of treatment before that, untill his ok to be put under anesthetic. I am really SCARED!!! I just don't know what to do about it and I probably will be like this untill I'll speak with the doctor again and have this solved. I am just dying inside and I can't sleap or eat. I started having bad migranes again and am just frustrated. I just want my baby to be ok again. Please pray for him and our family as we need all the support we can get right now. To be honest more than anything I think I need a really big hug!!!

Oh Maria i am so sorry you and sweet baby Alex are going through this. I hope you feel better after speaking to the specialist.. there is nothing worse than NOT knowing... sending you a HUGE hug!!

Maria, I'm so sorry to hear that about Alex. But, you have to take care of yourself, too. If you are so worried that you can't eat or sleep, talk to your doctor. Please keep us informed. I will say a prayer right now for sweet Alex and for you, too. Hugs, Jeanne

:big_hug: I am so sorry you are having to go thru this. My neice had a skull close to early and had to have brain surgery when she was a baby and then a shunt placed at 16 yrs. She is now a very exceptional kindegarten teacher as well as a new mom! Doctors can and do miraculous things!
