Please Remember My Sister I wanted to request that you each keep my Sister "Bobbie" in your Thoughts as she has a long road ahead of her. She is 42 yrs. old and we're 13 Months apart...She has Kyphosis and she having trouble with her back...To the point I could hear it in her voice...She had a MRI done last week due to her hip hurting her and not being able to go to the bathroom good...Now the pain has moved into the middle of her back and her hip is still bad, she is limping when she walks. Our DR. called her on 7/21/08 and told her they found something hanging off her spine she had to have another MRI done with the dye on 7/23/08, so they could view it better. She said that is what was causing her not to be able to potty right....She just goes a little and now her hands and feet are all swelled, they have her on Predisone (Spelling there) but it's not helping her any... She is also borderline diabetic and on pills for it (1 twice a day). I thoughts she looked swelled last Wed when she came by after her 1st MRI...But I never said anything to her, as she has put on weight in the past 2 years and I didn't want her to feel bad. They also gave her some pain pills but she will not take them... She's one of these that thinks she has to do it all...I told her to let her hubby and almost 13 yr old daughter wait on her hand and foot she said they won't...I said come here I'll do it for you, you can bring your Yorkies to my house too. We live about 1/2 hour away from each other. Her Hubby works right up the road from my house. Bobbie got her results back from her 2nd MRI yesterday and it says she has either a Tumor or Cyst, it is 8 to 10 millimeters and it is located on her Spine at the T12-L1 (it is hanging off her spine, or at least that's what our Family Dr. said from her 1st MRI). They are sendting her to a Neurosurgeon as soon as possible...Here in my City I live in (She lives in the country) She said they now have her on Water Pills but it's not helping her swelling any at all, she told me yesterday they have to do something with her not being able to pee or poo right as it is being retained in her body and causing her to swell badly. She also is loosing feeling in her legs she ask me to look that up also, and her pain is so bad at night she can't sleep and she is getting up and down all night feeling like she has to potty but only goes a little. And her bladder feels full all the time. She is coming to my house today or tomorrow to read what I've found on the internet about Cysts and Tumors of the spine...She doesn't have internet at her house. She wants to get a general idea of what to expect. Her Hubby and 12 yr old daughter act as tho it is nothing...I told her to tell them to put the shoes on the other feet and walk in her shows then see how they feel. I told her she can come stay with me if she needs to. It's sad that they treat her this way. My niece is her only child so she is spoiled, but Bobbie trys to make her mind. She just gives into her all the time. Our Parents are older. Mom is 70 now and Dad is 78, and they live right up the road from my parents...Bobbie is my Moms baby, she always has been so I know this is hard for my Mother...Mom is in denial of it being what it is with Bobbies Test Results...She says there's nothing there. Mom is not one to deal with things such as this easy....When Dad was in the Hospital with his Open Heart Surgery Mom couldn't be there much, she just can't do it so for 6 weeks it was me and Bobbie there with him. Please pray for her as we are very close to each other and she is very dear to me...And please pray for my Parents as this is hard on them also and ask God to help my Mother with more understanding of my Sisters Condition. I am so very sorry for your sister, Bobbi. I cannot imagine the pain she must be in. I will keep your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the doctors can remove the tumor and give her comfort. I didn't know what Kyphosis was so I did a google. Oh man, it looks so very painful. And to have the other problems as well. Please let Bobbi know that I am sending her :hug: and :hands: for a speedy recovery. |

I am praying for a good diagnosis, help with the pain, to guide the surgeon during surgery, for you Sister Bobbie's Husband and Daughter to wake up and realize what is going on with her, and for to help your parents being able to deal with this and help her through it. Ladies thank you all so very very much, you all fill my heart with so much love! I wouldn't know what to do without my YT Family...You all are the best! My Sister got a call from the Neurosurgeon and they have to look over her charts and test result before they even agree to see her, let alone treat her...:( This was heart breaking for me as this is growing inside as we speak and she was in really bad pain today. She told me today to look up Neurogist in my town as she doesn't want to have to go far from us...So I did and we found a few that comes to our hospital. Please pray that the Neurosurgeon our DR. contacted will hurry up and take her in or call her and let her know if he won't so we can hopefully find someone, somewhere to help her...I know she can't keep living with all the toxins from her kidneys and bowels not getting out of her body right... Pray for her tomorrow as she is having her 5 front teeth pulled :( to get falsie (As I call then lol) and she has a gold post behind one of them, pray they will all come out easy for her and she won't be in much pain, her false teeth will be her packing and she has to go back in Sat to make sure everything is okay...Also pray she doesn't have much bleeding she does tend to bleed so very much when she gets teeth pulled she has to use tea bags at home...I don't know if it is because of her sugar or not... I talked to my Mom today and I told her Bobbie was in pain she said she never said nothing to me about it, I told Mom that I could hear it in her voice like I do when Dad has a hard time breathing...She never said a word about Bobbie and what the DRs found, I never did either...I didn't want her to get all upset over it. Please keep praying for my parents too, as they are older and not in good health either, Moms health is a lot better then Dads, he is getting worse with his age. I hope this is something that can easily be fixed and she can be pain free and get back to a normal life. She's very lucky to have you as a sister and that you care about her so much. |

I can hear the pain in your words. I will pray for Bobbie that somehow, somewhere a doctor will be able to help her. How is she able to have teeth pulled when her body is in so much pain and possibly filled with toxins? For your sake, Bobbie's and your family's, I pay that diagnosis and relief will come quickly. I'm sorry I haven't updated yet, we had our yard sale and everything is crazy, had to take my girls to see the Eyeglass DR. yesterday for check ups now all their checkups are out of the way for school... My sis did get her teeth pulled Fri. She had to have stitches and they took out what Mom and Dad had thought they paid $600.00 for that gold post...It turned out to be a Surgical Alloy Post...Isn't that something how even a dentist years ago would lie to them just to make money...Make us sick...oh well at least she now has her "Falsies" :D and girls they look so real...They don't make her look like she has jackass teeth (I've seen people that look like this and their teeth doesn't look real) she bled on and off all night long and got up and threw up do to the blood draining back in her throat. But her dentist put a gel in/on her gums that help slow the bleeding down. She came to our Yard Sale Sat and sit with us for a while (Mom brought her) and she seemed to be doing good...So that is a plus...Her back is still hurting her and she hasn't heard a thing from ANY Doctors on her back so please pray that someone will do something soon as she can't hardly pee and it is causing her to swell badly...So I know something has to be done for her to be able to potty right. I haven't read every post yet as it's getting ready to storm and I wanted to hurry up and update you all on her. Lee, I am glad your sister got her teeth taken care of without too many problems. It is a shame that the other dentist ripped off your parents. If I was them I would see if he is still in business and I would do something about it. I will continue to pray that your sisters back will get better and that the doctors can do something to relieve her pain. |
That's great she had her teeth pulled and got that over. I hate that these doctors make people wait not knowing what is going on. I will keep her in mu prayers. |
I certainly hope those doctor's get back to your sister soon if not I would most definately call them to see what the hold up is. I pray that they will take care of this for her and relieve her pain so she can get on with her life. Thank heavens her dental work went well. Hang in there, |
Thank you each for your prayers. Barbara that Dentist went out of business years ago...Just their luck. Her teeth are doing good for her and that is a prayer answered...She is happy with them. Please pray for Bobbie still, she hasn't heard a word from any Doctors and she is getting worse with her swelling...She said she can't hardly pee now (Don't mean to be so blunt here but don't know how to describe it) with out pushing like she is having a BM...And her belly is swelling and her pant won't fit her now... I told her get off this phone with me RIGHT NOW and call our Family Dr and tell them to find you someone somewhere at our hospital (She won't go anywhere but here in my town, she said that today as I knew it was so I could be close to her and take care of my family too and yes Yorkies too...I can run back and forth if need be as the hospital is on the other side of town from my house) I said your kidneys are shutting down on you and you'll end up having to have dyalis (Spelling there) or a transplant if you don't make them do something...I told her to tell our Dr. that if they didn't do something and get you in some where by Friday that you'll be in for them to admit you to the hospital over your kidneys... I said I'm not trying to be mean but you have to press them or they won't do anything...She called and left a message...Hasn't heard back yet... This thing is pressing on her kidneys and her bowels and it's causing her back to hurt now and her kidneys so they have to do something...She has insurance where her hubby works so I don't know why they are playing around. Please just keep praying that God will open a door to a good doctor at our hospital for her...I'll let you know something as soon as we find something more out...Hugs Lee |

Update On My Sister My Sister "Bobbie" finally got a call from the Neurosurgeon (The one who is comes to our Hospital from another City) they said they had to make sure she could help her before they called her back...They want to see her the August 25, 08 so thank goodness they "THINK" they can help her...We will see what they say...She is still hurting in her back and everything else is the same...So just keep praying that she will be okay so she can get into see the Dr. They couldn't get her in here in our City so she has to go to the other City they are in and see them so at least she is being seen. I have NO idea what they will do for her there...I'm sure they will want to do more test??? Please keep her in your prayers. Barbara how is Michelle??? I haven't been on YT much to see how she is.
