Wow! Definitely in my thoughts for his safe return :( |
I just pulled a stupid stunt. I tripped going back out the door to keep looking ..... and sprained my ankle. I asked my husband to just help me back in the car and we would continue to look. He wouldn't. Now I am sitting here with an ice pak. People are serching the area now. At least we know they are still in this area.. That's all I know for now.... I forgot to tell you how much your prayers mean. Thank you so much. |
Bobbi, I know you must be frantic with worry right now, but it sounds like there are many who are looking for him. You never know, maybe he realizes his Dad is so worried & he's afraid to contact him because he ran off. He could contact his grandparents thinking his Dad is upset with him for running off. Maybe it's best you stay put, in case he tries to call. Take care & Thx for updating us. |
I know it's hard not to be out looking, but it is probably better that you stay put. More prayers coming your way... (I was hoping that you would have found him by now). |
They are SAFE.. They have been found. |

A farmer picked them up a little while ago. They were flagging down cars to get help to get back to town. He was a wonderful fellow. He took him to his house and called the police. He was worried they would get run over or picked up by someone who was not a nice person. We jumped up and went to the police station to make sure they were alright. Those little stinkers were 11 miles from town. Thank you for all of your Prayers. They worked miracles... I am forever in your debt. Love you guys, A very grateful grandma, Bobbi |
Praise The Lord, for returning my grandson and his friend... unharmed and safe. I can't tell you how relieved I am. Thank you for being there for us. Love you guys, Bobbi |
thanks for the details. I was scared how easy it would be for someone else to pick them up and they disappear. If you know about children being on milk cartons years ago -- that's because it started here in Iowa, when Johnny Gosch was 12 yrs old and delivering morning newspapers - he disappeared and despite a great deal of searching has never been found again These young people need to understand how easy it is for the wrong person to get them. Sounds like they must have hitched that far out though too. That farmer was a smart man - glad he did the right thing |
Just seeing this, so glad that they are okay! They can be stinkers. Hope they smooth things out and that this won't happen to you and your family again. |
Whew! I'm sooo glad they are safe and sound! YOU need to put your foot up and rest. If it keeps hurting or it hurts a lot when you try to put weight on it, you will need to go get an xray. That's a stunt I pulled at the beginning of summer and it turned out to be broken. |
I just read the whole thread, I'm so glad your grandson and his friend were found and they are safe! Thankfully that nice farmer stopped and helped them! Now you'll definitely sleep better tonight :) Oh, and sorry about your ankle, I hope that feels better too! |
I just read all this. I am SO glad they are found! Must have been so scary! |
 I just seen this Post and I am sooooo glad everything worked out ok ..... what a big scare .... |
I am glad you guys found them but as a parent I hope he is so grounded for "life" for what he did to you and his parents. Storming out over a issue with a sibling is not the right way to handle it. Then flagging down cars with unknown people is even worse. If I would have did something like that My own grandma would have chewed me from one end to another. So I hope you let him have it after you gave him hugs and kisses. :) |
