Prayers and positive thoughts for you and Michelle and her family. I'm praying that the surgeon will stop by today for a visit too....I wish there was something I could do or say to make it better. Just know that we're all praying for you!

I spoke with Michelle around noon. She is feeling much better, thank goodness. She has not seen any doctors today and they have not moved her yet. I am just thankful she is feeling better. She really had me worried this morning. I just think the medicine they give her at bedtime just wears off during the night and she always wakes up in more pain.

I am glad Michelle is feeling better now.Praying she can getthe treatment she so needs and make a full recovery.

I am so glad to hear that Michelle is feeling better. I hope that they get her moved quickly so that they can start treating her pain. Neurological pain is cruel beyond all reason.

I cannot believe they are taking so long to get to her. Any non profit hospital has to see her....is there anyone else that can help???

I have always heard, they only move fast when they think it is bad....maybe that is what is going on....they feel that it is benign...and not growing...

Michelle finally talked to the surgeon and the news is not good. The tumor is near the center of the brain, on or near the main brain stem. I am not sure of all the details because I have not spoke to Michelle in person about all this. She relayed the information to Melissa, her sister, and Melissa relayed it to me. She just wanted Melissa to tell me because she knew I would be upset and she did not want to be the one the break the news to me. Melissa said Michelle was crying. The doctor told Michelle that the tumor is in a location that is very hard to get too. They will try to operate but they do not know if they will be able to get to the tumor. They will do a biopsy on it. The doctor now is concerned that it might be cancerous because of its location. The doctor also told Michelle that the surgery is very risky and it is possible that damage can be done to her brain while trying to remove the tumor. This is not what I wanted to hear. I am so scared for Michelle. I tried to call Michelle earlier but she had company and her husband was on the way up there. Michelle said she will call me later. I am trying to stay strong and stay positive. Please keep Michelle in your prays, we need all we can get.

I am so sorry it wasn't better news! Just makes me want to cry! When we were up in Richardson a year or so ago I saw a few signs posted for a place that specializes in inoperable brain tumors. I wish I could remember the name, but it would be worth checking out. I think they used lasers or something. The reason I remembered it was because our friend's son had an inoperable brain tumor at the time.

They are going to try to operate but we just don't know what the results will be. Hopefully the surgery will be sometime this next week. I am just so scared for my daughter. Her boys need their mom and I don't know how they would manage without her, especially the 10 year old. He is a mommas boy. She is the heart and soul of her family.

We will just continue to pray for her and her family. I can only imagine how hard this is on ALL of you.

We are praying so hard and even though this isn't the best of news, the surgery may tell them alot even if they can't remove it. As a mother you are certainly thinking ahead to the grandchildren but just remember when sometimes things look like they are at their worst, they are not. There are 120 different kinds of brain tumors so this could very well be benign. Lets hope and pray that is the case for all of you. Hugs, Joan
