OKLA June Meetup
 

I was on Meetup.com and noticed that it says a location has not been set yet. Is it still set for June 16 at 10:00? Where are we meeting?
Sophie finally has all of her shots so this would be her first time to get to come !!!

I was thinking about meeting at the dog park. Was does everyone think? We can meet at either the Grand Ave one or the Norman one.

Dog park is fine with me if we are doing it in the morning, should be cooler. I am up for either one... so whatever the majority rules is good for me.

Hey I'm gonna hijack your thread for a minute :p I figured while I got you folks from Ok here....Do any of you know of a good "pet hotel" or pet sitter anywhere near Pryor? I'm DRIVING from California :eek: Just thought I'd check, though I haven't made any decisions about what I'm actually going to do with my doggies :rolleyes:

I can't vouch for any, I am in Norman and can give you a recommendation here, but I think if we can find one in the Tulsa area it would be better. Is any one from the Tulsa area?

Is 9:30 to early or to late? I will have my granddaughter on Saturday. I can try to sneak her in the Grand Ave park. I think its centrally located for everyone. Although the Norman on has more trees.

Let me know if this works and I will send an email out through meet up.

9:30 isnt TOOOO early. I'm not LOVING it but it would let us get done before it gets to hot, which is a MUST, I think anyways

We missed those of you who couldn't attend. All the "kids" had a GREAT time with each other and all the other dogs that were there.

There was a red cross dog thing that was meeting threre as well so there was lots of mingling between dogs & humans. Very neat. There was one special guest there as well that ALLLLL the dogs just LOVED to be with. He was a special needs adult, his name was Jeffery, and he just sooooo enjoyed all of the dogs visiting with him. We took a few pics of all our kiddos with him as they went up to visit and give him some lovin. We had 2 new friends join us today Nikki & Beau (I hope I spelled their names correctly) and their mommy Kim Hines. Beau proved to be an absolute NATURAL therapy dog and Kim even talked about getting him signed up to learn how to do so. He was SOOOOOO good with Jeffery, almost as if he was kind of staking his claim on him. Beau would just set in Jeffery's lap and not move. It was really neat to watch as Beau is only 4 1/2 months old. It was also good to see Michelle, her granddaughter Arial & of course Miss Katie!!!
