Have you all ever had a get together for the babies.........If you ever do I will be there:D I was just wondering, I saw those pics on the SF one and it just crossed my mind:D It would be cool I think :D :D

We have - but it really got so hot this year - I think we were waiting for better weather and now it's here !

Yes - at Millie Dog Park - it has a small breed side and a large breed side

I've met Txshopper too and we went there with my girls last year about this same time - now that the weather is nice we should do one soon - I love going to them -I'm trying to find a site with more info but this tells you a little - It ws rated one of the best parks in the country a few years ago - It's about 10 minutes off I-10..... located on Westheimer & hwy 6.

Millie County Dog Park(Precinct 3) - 15 FENCED Acres
Separate fenced areas for small(under 25lbs.) AND for large dogs!
Water fountains for you and your dog
Even a Doggy Shower (you bring your own towels)

In Bush Park, on Westheimer.
When entering the Park near Westheimer and Hwy.6
(north of "West Oaks Mall" and West of "Best Buy" and
"Barnes and Noble" in the shopping center at Hwy.6 and Westheimer).
The site for the dog park is located between the two ponds on
the south side of Westheimer Parkway.

Oh, a meetup sounds like so much fun. I actually go to Houston a lot to visit my mom whom lives in Katy. Rocky and I would love to come and play.

Benji and I went to that park a couple of months ago. He has so much fun playing with all the other doggies. A meet up would be so much fun. If only we could go today. The weather is just great right now!!!

Thats 25 minutes without traffic right? ;) I take it you live on the West Side of Houston. I just moved from there to Fort Worth last year to be my with now husband and his daughter. I do miss Houston some, but I don not miss the traffic. What I really miss is the really good seafood Houston has, Fort Worth has crappy seafood in my opinion. I have been wanting to take Rocky to the Millie Dog Park, but just have not had a chance. I here it is really nice. I think there is a dog park in old town Katy now, but I am not for sure.

You're right on all counts except I DID count for traffic - the way I drive I probably can make it to Katy in less than 20 :p

and houston DOES suck with traffic :D I've been here long enough to to know when and where I can go at certain times but it's really a pain.

Old Town Katy has grown so much I bet they do have something now
