Lets have a DFW meetup- Halloween style!
 

Hey girls (and boys) lets get together this weekend and dress up our furkids in thier halloween costumes! Im hoping this isnt too last minute. Can anyone come if we get together on Saturday at southlake dog park? Or maybe we can just attend the chifiesta together(I keep forgetting where that is at).

We will be at Chi-esta on Saturday and they are having lots of activities including some contests. It is at Bear Creek Park Pavillion at 400 Bear Creek Park Road in Keller, Texas from 11am to 4pm.

Rocky and I wanna come play, but Rocky does not have costume yet. I know I such a bad mommy. But I did buy him a Halloween T-shirt.

We want to come!!!! I've still got to finish Sadie's costume, though.

Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get white tights small enough for her???? The smallest I can find is Newborn (0-6 mo) and the legs are too big. I don't want to pay a ton for them, either. This is probably a one time deal.

I never did get a booth but I definetly want to go see the festivities and I need to buy a blanket for chloe. I know little dogs will be all dressed up but do you think they will be wearing costumes?

What is Sadie going to be?

Sounds like alot of fun. Plus a need to get a few blankets for my mom's dogs. She just loved Rocky's.

The list of events for Chiesta shows a costume contest - so we are dressing up the girls. Last weekend at Lakewood's Walk & Wag event lots and lots of dogs were in halloween costumes!

Can't wait to see what Sadie is going to be!! Magic & Sailor are Peebles & BamBam.

OK, you win...I wasn't that creative.

We actually tried to copy a idea we saw last year....this lady had her 3 year old twins dressed as Pebbles & BamBam......and they were precious. To me it is not quite as obvious what we have done...some people caught on last weekend, but most did not. The winners of the costume contest last week were almost all store bought costumes - pumpkins, fireman, etc.....so I will be curious to see what wins this week.

Did you guys know that Northpark Mall has a halloween event? (And Northpark Mall allows pets!! In fact the people at Neiman Marcus are crazy about dogs....we got stopped many times walking through.) We went last year and entered the girls and there were tons of people and some of the best costumes I have ever seen for pets....very clever ideas. But since this year we will be at Chiesta, we will miss out.

Hundreds of canines will battle it out in their coolest costumes to earn the title of Most Original, Best Costume, Best Dressed Tiny Breed and Coolest Kid and Dog Costume. Growl-A-Ween is free to enter, and the top dogs will win up to $1,200 in prizes. Okay so where we gonna meet? And what time. Hey I can bring Rocky a costume if you want. I got several extras that I ended up with like superman costume & football costume. Im gonna bring chloe in her dorothy dress and glittery red ruby slippers!
