Recommended Breeder I'm from Boston but got my Yorkie from this breeder/kennel based out of Texas/Oklahoma and I definitely recommend them so I thought I would share. They were recommended to me by a family member and their Yorkies are just the cutest. More importantly though, they truly care of the health and well-being of your puppy. Yorkie pups Look around the website and check out their guestbook, so many wonderful reviews. |
How old is your dog? This is a commercial breeder that breeds several different breeds; their dogs are kept in a kennel outside. Did you visit the kennel? How can you be sure that the dogs are kept in humane conditions? |
Good questions. Lindsey, if your pup is young and you've only had him/her for a while, please keep us updated on your pup and your relationship with your breeder. A follow would be great. |
This is a USDA kennel that is pumping out puppies for nothing other than pure profit. They are not breeding for the betterment of the breeds (multiple that they are selling) and even advertise TEACUPS as well as selling both AKC and ACA puppies . Purchasing from this large scale kennel does nothing expect line the pockets of Douglas Andrew and his wife Sharon off the backs of these poor dogs that are locked in cages their entire lives. I have no idea what the cute little house is on their "About Us" page but if you look further at their site you can see that this is a large scale commercial breeder most likely supplying pet shops. Furthermore, their site does not show a single adult dogs of any breed. You need to buy your breeder first, visit their home and learn about their breeding program before purchasing a quality puppy. Purchasing puppies without doing the aforementioned is heartache just waiting to happen. |
I would also like to add that this kennel is on the Prisoners of Greed website PG 51. Here is the link to this site as well: http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/ListA2006.pdf |
I agree with the negative reviews of this site -- not someone I would do business with and those poor, sad looking yorkie pups! Big difference in those and the well-bred litters you can find from a quality breeder! Don't be fooled by the low prices -- these are not going to save you money in the long run. Poor breeding means lots of $$$$ down the line plus a dog that turns into an adult far from the yorkie standard. Customers of this type of "business" are the ones posting on YT: Why doesn't my dog look like a yorkie? Is this a purebred? Why does my dog have so many health issues? Why is my dog's back arched? Why can't I get my dog's hair to look silky? Why does my breeder refuse to answer my calls now that my puppy is sick? Why did my breeder never send papers? My puppy arrived with infections, ear mites and fleas! |

I sincerely do hope your puppy is and remains healthy. Unfortunately, the part of Oklahoma your puppy is coming from has numerous puppy mill and horrible back yard breeder situations. It does appear your breeder is a commercial breeder, and often they are the worst kind. It always disturbs me when I see the "paypal" button on a greeders website. |
:eek::eek:29 puppies listed:eek::eek::eek: Talk about mill... Cannot believe someone would recommend this place....:thumbdown |
Hmm, I wonder if someone started this thread in an effort to drum up business with the person that made a request in this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/new...g-breeder.html |

I'll be honest the whole paypal and paying for a puppy online thing is a weird concept to me but this place was recommended to me by multiple people who I trust and have been nothing but happy with their puppies. |

All necessary papers (immunizations, health, etc.) were sent with my puppy and the breeder has been there to answer all phone calls and emails. |
