Goody Bags from Sat's Meet Up Ok, first off we had soooo much fun Sat!! And I can't wait for the next one, let's start planning now! lol :p Who made the fleece chew toys? OH MY GOODNESS! Gracie loves this. And she is hysterical!!! She's walking around the house with it in her mouth, just growling and whoofing and yammering like crazy. Just daring anyone to try and take it away from her. Then she'll put it down, growl at it, run around it like it's prey trying to get away, then pounce on it, shake it and start all over again. Thank you, whoever made it, I'm in stitches watching her play with it. Second, who made the little doggie treats? There was like 5 or 6 in a small bag tied with a pretty ribbon. Lordy, do they love those treats. Boo is quiet the treat snob and is very picky about what he'll eat. He snapped up that first one and did everything he could to keep Gracie from getting her fair share. I really would love the recipe!! |
sounds like ya'll had lots of fun! Wish we had meet ups over here... :) |
I made the Doggy Treats!! I'm soo glad your Boo likes them!! I was afraid that some Yorkies wouldn't eat them or not. Paris loves hiding them and then i'll find her chewing on one later on. Its not my recipe though, but i thought they would be great in the goodie bags and i substitued skim milk for Non Fat Milk. They are called Simple Peanut Butter Dog Cookies. Here is the Three Dog Bakery recipe when they were on the Food Network. 2 cups whole-wheat flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 cup natural peanut butter 1 cup skim milk (or Non Fat Milk) Cooking Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk. Add wet mixture to dry, and mix well. Turn out dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick and cut out shapes. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on a rack then store in an airtight container. Makes 30 large bones I was able to make 175 small "yorkie sized" cookies with the recipe. if you want to keep them longer you can refrigerate them. I hope everyone else's lil furbabies enjoyed the lil dog cookies!! I had fun making them!! |
