Hi! The revolution doesn't have that same 3 day restriction and can be put on right after a bath. I know the other treatments say to wait 3 days before and after. I think the revolution is fine after 3 days to bathe them too but i never have since that stuff is so darn expensive and i don't want to risk washing any of it off! :rolleyes: i think i'll bathe them all today so they will be smelling good for a few minutes before they roll in whatever they find out there! LOL! i'll just put the treatment on SUnday after ANOTHER bath!! :D We are pumped about tomorrow! I have made the girls matching outfits with their initials on the back. :D |

I bathed Lacy and Rylie Wednesday night so they'll be pretty clean. If I were you, I'd bathe afterwards and put the flea meds on then. You can always buy capstar pills for the day for each of them. They are cheap and kill any fleas within 30 minutes and the pill lasts 24 hours. It's a pill that is safe to be given every day. Actually, now that I think about it...I may go get a couple in the morning and give them to Lacy and Rylie just to be safe. |

I think there was mention before about birthday treats and maybe a cake? I just wanted to let you all know that Lacy is treat aggressive. So if any treats are going to be given, please give me warning before so I can pick her up and give her a treat away from the other dogs. She's usually really good otherwise and normally gets along fine with other dogs...but NOT when treats are involved. So please just let me know before you get the treats out |

I talked to V tonight. She said she's definitely gonna try to make it. She has a few things she has to do, but the 1:00 time sounds good. Yippee! I sure hope she makes it. Maddie-Rudy-Mom ; so sorry you're not going to make it. I enjoyed talking to you at one of the other meetups. Have fun with your sister on her b-day. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. Hmmm, I will be bathing and treating for fleas as well. If they get dirty again they will have to go through another bath. Hopefully the flea protection will still be active? It's the best I can offer. Can't wait to see all the cutie yorkies and meet the yters!! that I haven't met. |

I'm coming !! I called Jamie last night and when she said it's at 1 pm I can DEF make that time !! I'm NOT bathing the girls and they need haircuts but who the heck cares :D !! We haven't been to a meetup in over 6 months - the last one I went to was right before my husband died so I'm really looking forward to this ! Maybe my girls won't be SO Velcro now that they're getting used to being around more people - and thanks for this thread - I looked up the park and know right where it is and haha Jamie :D :D :D - YES it's the place I used to go to ogle men (waaaaaaaay back in the day) lol ! |

WHAT a BLAST!!! WOW! WE had a GREAT time today!! The weather was gorgeous (80° and sunny) and we all had a ball!!! All the babies had a fun time. I will be posting pictures soon. I know Mr. Yorkiecrazy took a million pictures so it will take him awhile to get those ready. The PACK crashed and slept the whole way home. They really missed their naps!! It was great meeting some new friends and getting faces with YT names! :D The PACK had a great time!! Hope we can all get together again soon!!! What a fun birthday party for Max!! :happyboun |
I had a great time!! I enjoyed the trip with crb and Layla's mom..we definitely had the yorkiemobile! It took us a little longer than expected to get there but better late than never :p The dog park was so nice - it was huge with three seperate areas. The small dog area was large with trees and shaded areas, agility equipment, and a bone-shaped pond. Luckily our babies stayed out of the water LOL...but it was funny watching some of the others diving in there! We had our little "yorkie area" but we were visited by some cuties of other breeds too...and every time our babies seemed to recognize they were *different* and had to bark :p We celebrated Max's birthday, ate pizza, watched our babies play, and chatted. Rylie and Lacy seemed to have a great time! We'll definitely have to do it again soon! |
Being surrounded by YORKIES is just too awesome!! It was great meeting the yters, Michelle, - Lacys mom is a sweet mature young girl, a delight. Laylas mom, crb, cj michi (maxs' mom), v, all a pleasure to meet, and their yorkies??? what cuties!! Micko was very attentive to Jazzie, there was a little romance going on there. Layla was adorable, as were the fufu PACK, All the yorkies were a pleasure to meet, I loved the moment Yorkie crazy Gracie came to me thinking I was mom, oooh, that was sweet. Lacy was quite a charachter shooing off non yorkies, it was so much fun to see the personalities of each yorkie, all different in looks yet beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I was in YORKIE Heaven :D . I discovered Maxs mom is puertorican just like me, I'm newyorican! I'm going to learn the way to Pasadena ;) perhaps we can share some home cooking dishes :) . It was a blast, awesome ladies and gents. It was awesome to see fufufashions & yorkie crazy again as well with their precious yorkies. I thank God the day turned out superb!! Can't wait to meet again. |

It WAS fun !! It was so good to meet some new yorkie lovers and put names to the screenames !! I totally enjoyed it - all except for that awful man who threw a bottle of water at that little chi and almost hit our yorkies - Good thing my girls kept me in line even though I did say something - it wasn't nearly what I wanted to say :D Thank you all for having the meet - it was good to get out and spend a nice day at the dog park...I felt bad leaving after only 2-1/2 hours but had already made plans for the later afternoon - All the yorkies were SO Cute and so funny and Michelle - I fell in love with the little pug - he was really funny :D |
and ps - I tried to edit- HAPPY BIRTHDAY again Max !! and thank you so much for the treats !! My girls went into my purse and got them out themselves when we got home - they were yummy !! I was really tempted to eat one myself :D |
