Just wondering who all in this area plans to attend the big yorkie meetup this summer in Kansas City??? I'm planning on being there!

I am going to make the trip. I have a lot of family in KS, so I'll stop in southcentral KS for a few days and then go on to KC where my brother and his family lives. We have stayed there with the pups before, and they live pretty close to the plaza. The area of KC that we are all going to is SO nice. My brother proposed to his wife in the Plaza. I REALLY can't wait.

That area looks really nice! SOOO much shopping and a ton of nice restaurants!! Some REALLY nice and expensive restaurants too. It looks like they have several restaurants with outside tables too so hopefully we'll be allowed to sit outside and eat with our babies. As long as we can get the room booked, we're planning on staying Sunday night too so we can hang out and relax and shop on Sunday. I know it's still 6 months away, but I am SOOOOOO excited!!!!

There is a Cheesecake Factory in the Plaza with a patio. :D I will most likely stay Sunday night too; I'm probably going to make a 5 or 6 day trip out of it since I know so many people in KS.

My hubby proposed to me on the Plaza too...almost 40 years ago. We are going to the meet up....at least I am but I am taking my sil with me. Hubby can stay and visit with his mom. That is usually the family reunion weekend so it worked out perfectly for us.

I'd love to be able to go...we just found out about it yesterday, so I still need to talk to hubby about it.

it would be so much fun to go cause it would be nice to be around people who love their babies just as much as I love mine. I'd love to see them all over and not have to worry about people giving us mean looks about taking our baby places.

:( I am so sad, because I wont be able to go :( :( , My husband is deploying to Iraq in April:( .............and I will left with 3 kids, 12, 10, and 7, and the 2 furbabies:( . He had told me I could go if he was here to keep the kids or come with me:( I really wanted to go too:(
