October 20th - GA Yorkie Playdate scheduled
 

We have scheduled a Yorkie get together for Saturday, October 20th at 11:00 AM at Wills Park in Alpharetta. The park has an enclosed, off-leash area for small dogs so our dogs can play and get to know each other. I will try to answer any questions about the park as I have been there many times. I’ve enclosed the directions below. Last time we got together we went to a deli for lunch about 1:00. The deli allowed our dogs on the outdoor patio and is just a few blocks away so we will plan on doing this again for lunch for anyone who wants to stay.

Please feel free to bring your dogs in their Halloween costumes. I know mine will want to take theirs off to play but maybe we can snap some pictures at the beginning. Don't feel like you have to get a costume if you don't want to. We just want to see lots of yorkies there.

Directions to Wills Park:

Going South on GA 400:
Take exit #10/ Alpharetta / Old Milton Pkwy
Turn right onto Old Milton Pky (GA-120W) toward Alpharetta (go 1.8 mi)
Turn left on Roswell Street (there is a Zaxby’s on the left) go .1 mile
Take the first right into the parking lot of the Alpharetta Community Center. The dog park is behind the community center and we will meet there.

Going North on GA 400:
Take exit #10/ Alpharetta / Old Milton Pkwy
Turn left onto Old Milton Pky (GA-120W) toward Alpharetta (go 2 mi)
Turn left on Roswell Street (there is a Zaxby’s on the left) go .1 mile
Take the first right into the parking lot of the Alpharetta Community Center. The dog park is behind the community center and we will meet there.

I'll be there. Don't know if we will have a costume though, but it will be fun, as it was last time.

Oh wow, that sounds like so much fun. We have the Walk for a Cure that day at Centennial Olympic Park, so Bella and I won't be able to be there. :(

I'll probably pass on the GE this time. My husband hasn't had a job since last December so I should quit spending so much on the furkids and I already spent to much on their Halloween costumes. Can't wait to see all the yorkies though.
