Georgia Meetup Info!!! We are going to have a meetup for the Georgia Yt'ers at Wills Park which is off of GA 400. Please respond to this thread if you would like to come, and also let me know the date that works best for you. Please provide your first and second choice for the date so that we can try to accomodate everyone. We decided that September would be best, its a little cooler and that gives us more planning time. September: Saturday 1st Saturday 8th Saturday 15th Saturday 22nd Saturday 29th Can't wait to see whose coming!! |
Im availabe 09-8, and 09-22 i work every other saturday but if you have it on one of them days i can come after work i get off at 1.00pm Thanks Donna What are we supposed to bring i figured we all can bring something for lunch. |
The lady that told me about this park said that she didn't think that we could bring food in there, but theres a local cafe where we can sit outside with our dogs. I am going in a few weeks to check it out. I know that we are going to be doing a gift exchange. I will keep you posted with a date, when I see who all is coming ! |
The 8th or the 22nd is perfect for us as well. DH works every other weekend and he would like to attend too! How exciting! It will be so wonderful to meet all the Georgia YTers and their babies! |
September 8th or the 22nd works for me also. I think that you aren't allowed to bring food into the fenced in area of the park where the dogs can run off-leash but you can have food in the park. There are some picnic tables in the park that we could use if we all want to bring/pick up some lunch. There is a small dog play area (35 lbs and under) and a separate large dog area which makes it nice. I look forward to meeting you all. Terri |

We are going to meet at a park in Alpharetta, Wills Park. It is 1 mile off Georgia 400 (exit 10). I'll provide directions once we set the date but it's pretty easy to get to. I'll try to answer any questions about the park since I take my 4 dogs there on a regular basis. |

Georgia Meetup What time do you all think you will meet? I am four hours away, but would like to come. I live in Waycross, but can drive up for the meet. Would love to meet everyone. |
