Any suggestions of places that we can meet up at? If you are wanting to meet up please respond to this post. Any suggestions would be great!!!!

Maybe we should get a count of people interested and then pick a location convenient for the majority. Someone asked about dog parks in the other thread, the only one I know of is downtown Atlanta. There is one in Gwinnett county, in Snellville I think but not sure.

I know there is one up here where I live, in Gainesville. Its fenced inn, and its near the Lake :).

I'd be interested in a meet up. There are 2 fenced in dog parks close to me in Alpharetta, if we need to find a more central meeting place.

Why don't you time your meet up for the Atlanta Dog Show on Aug. 25th or the 26th? This way you can all see the yorkies (even the show yorkies) and visit. It will be at the Expo Center off 285. :thumbup:

A lot of people seem sorda close to that area. That might be a good meeting place. WE just need to see who all will be coming and then pick a date... then go from there.

Dogs must be crated if brought into the building (if not showing) and should be quite while people/show dogs are in the ring, but could meet outside or near by after. It would be a great opportunity to see the show dogs too.

When I get my program - about a week before that show weekend - I can let you all know the show ring time.

I would love to go to the dog show, don't think I could bring Aubrey, he doesn't like his cage. Where do they have it at?

It will be at the Atlanta Exposition Center off of 285 - 3850 Jonesboro Road, Atlanta. I can give you directions after i am back from this weekends Greenville SC show. We are getting ready to leave now - just waiting for hubby to come home.
