TAMPA, FL Yorkie Meet-up/Playdate
 

Hey guys! Reesee's Mom and I are planning a Meet-up for this weekend, Saturday April 7th. We would love it if you all could come! She is driving over to Tampa from Orlando, and I know that there are some of you that live in the areas surrounding Tampa, so we would absolutely love it if you could join us.

We were thinking about having lunch at this nice Italian resturand called Bella Brava. They serve people with dogs at their outside tables, so I think it would be perfect! The resturant is in St. Pete which is over by all of the dog beaches, so we were thinking about taking them to maybe the one in Ft. De Soto, since it has a dog beack and a dog park. But there are I think 8 or 10 dog beaches in Tampa, so we have our choice. There is also a nice dog park off of the Mango Exit on 1-4. It has a separate area for small dogs and large dogs. We're open to whatever, so if you're willing to make the drive, then it will definately be worth it!

Maybe we can ever get this thing going once a month and eventually have the meet-up's in different areas and eventually grow large enough that we can have our own Yorkie Fair! :) (gotta dream big!)

Reesee is going to the vet that morning for her last round of puppy shots so I want her to have lots of fun after that, poor baby! I get out of the vet around 11am so I am thinking I will be there around 12:30 or so. See you then! :animal36

I will be out of town, but definitely keep me in mind for the next meet up! I'd love to come to one!

OH I would love to meet up but I do not think I will have enough time this weekend to drive 3 1/ hours to Tampa. I am on the East Coast in Melbourne so if any thing is ever closer to me let us know.

Oh, we won't be able to go to the resturant Bella Brava, because we didn't realize that it doesn't open til 5 on saturday. lol. We're working on finding another nice resturant, so we'll let you know what we find. Or if you know of a good one, just PM me.

So what ever happened? Did you ever meet up? If you did I want to see pictures.. I didn't know about it, Sorry! I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway, It was too close to Easter and my mothers birthday, Maybe next time.. Let us all know! Send me a PM..

I had a personal problem and was not able to attend, it was cancelled. We are trying to set up a new one sometime in the next couple of weekends. Figured it was a hard weekend with Easter and all. Suggest dates and we can plan it. Cant wait to meet everyone! :)
