Hi everyone. I've updated the list. If I've made any mistakes (I'm assuming we are all women aka 'mom's) feel free to email me at Luvinlilchica39@aol.com. I'm hoping we can set up a Yorkie Picnic where we can each bring our Yorkies for the day. I'd like to try to set up some games with prizes and also maybe everyone could bring one covered , your own drinks & one wrapped gift under $5 and then we could enjoy some food and use the gifts for the prizes for the games. Plus have a nice day meeting other Yorkies & their families. We have a beautiful pet friendly park in Jensen Beach which is just beautiful in the springtime. It's on the Indian River and there's a beautiful view with lots of paths to walk and trees to hang out in the shade. If anyone would be interested in going to a Yorkie picnic in this area please post a yea or a nea and any ideas/inputs. Jensen Beach is on the east coast of florida inbetween West Palm and Vero Beach. Maybe someone would like to do a picnic for the west coasters as well.

I wanted to let all you Yorkie Moms out there in on a little secret. In Wilton Manors (just northwest of Ft. Lauderdale) there is a Dairy Queen that gives one free ice cream cone to every dog on Mondays. Owners/handlers do NOT need to purchase anything for this, although most do. :)

Also, there is a small (very small) fenced-patch of grass behind the DQ signage reads BARK PARK. It is very clean and has a bench for us two leggers. :aimeeyork

Oh and my local breeder currently has new pups. She mentioned that my Meeko's mom is also expecting any day now.

All of you who live in Fort Lauderdale have it so good - I was just there on vacation about 2 weeks ago and let me tell you that town is so pet friendly - not fair! Melbourne is not that pet friendly - I even went to a store called pampered pets (something like that) and bought tons of stuff for Murphy - so cool there!

Hi, I'm new to YT. My babies, Windsor and ZsaZsa and I live in Northwest Florida - Panama City. I hope everyone has a wonderful Mothers Day.

Welcome aboard! I'm also a 3 generation yorkie family and extending. Hope you enjoy all of us.

I'm also up for playdates. We're in Hialeah Gardens and if you come up with yorkie games ....put me down for the biggest yorkie. I think my Nicolas has out done himself. Last playdate he was at 5 lbs...he is now a whopping gorgeous hunky 18 pounder....lol. Lily, Lulu and Nory are still at around 4 pounds.

I saw some yorkies and their owners yesterday at the Dog Dazes of Summer event in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. I invited them to the Yorkie Meet. This is going to be so great and lots of fun and cute yorkies. I can't wait.

Ok, so I have 11 yorkies who have RSVP to me about coming to the yorkie meet. If you are passing the word along to any yorkie parents, please let me know if they are coming. I am getting a count together so I can accommodate us and the babies regarding food and beverages. I also gave the owner of Three Dog Bakery a flier today so that she can announce it to her yorkie customers. The fliers we had down stairs in our mailroom have been reduced as well. I'm hoping to hear from those who took them, soon.

Its at Markham Park, which is in Sunrise,FL. There's a really nice dog park area within the park, with two sections. One section is for smaller dogs under 25 lbs. called Little Markhams. We are meeting there at 2:00 on the 23rd (Saturday). Then we will convoy over to a more secluded pinic area with tree-shaded green grass. There will be gifts and games, food and fun! :animal-pa By the way, bring your best outfit for a possible fashion show. :aimeeyork

Anyone coming should considered bring their ex-pens if they have them. I will have mine, but its not big enough for 12 or more yorkies. LOL
