Yorkmont? NC/GA Breeders
 
I have been communicating with some breeders on-line to buy a Yorkie pup. Has anyone heard of Yorkmont (www.yorkmontyorkshireterriers.com)? Sparekelly's Puppy Palace? Can anyone recommend a breeder in NC? I live near Chapel Hill. It is overwhelming how many there are on-line. I was also communicating with EKKennels but read a thread on this page that they may be a puppy mill.
I would like to get a pup for Christmas...

I know a breeder near Raleigh, Miracle Yorkies (Yorkies, Yorkshire Terriers, Yorkie breeder NC, North Carolina Yorkshire Terrier). I'm not sure if she has puppies now but she has litters pretty regularly. As far as the other breeder, I don't know her but her dogs are in the Yorkshire Terrier Magazine alot. I think she's had several champions.

I know some really great breeders in Ga that show - just pm me. You can also see many of them on the YTCA web site. We have a show in Atlanta the first weekend of Jan.

Hi Brkk and Welcome: The breeder you mentioned yorkmont yorkshire terriers IS the best as far as I'm concerned. I got my male there. The woman Debbie is a first class professional dog breeder. My dog had a complete written health/exam/certificate, micro chipped, was neutered, very social, has an excellent silk coat, just a wonderful beautiful little boy with excellent patellas. She gives you a nursery package that is fantastic. Books, info, tips etc. Everything to make the transition to its new home easy and less stressful for the pup and you. My sister in law went with me to see these beautiful puppies and was so impressed with the owner and the quality of the yorkies that after picking mine out she went back and got one for her too. I am looking to buying another one from her because two are even more fun. I don't believe there is anyone better than her if you are looking for a healthy, well adjusted, beautiful and quality yorkie.

I think you are confusing this breeder with some breeders that show and follow ethics set in place by YTCA.

I was also curious about puppies from Sparekelly's Puppy Palace, came across their listing on the AKC breeder classifieds. Any more info, or has anyone here bought a puppy from them?

I know this a late post, just ran across it. I own several from Yorkmont Yorkshire Terriers! Wow is all I can say. Healthy and beautiful Yorkies in every sense of the word. I own several from her and many of my friends have also bought from her and are equally happy. Well adjusted, socialized, and last but not lease absolutely beautiful. They come with health certificates, nursery package and she is there for you to answer any and all question 24/7. Hope this helps anyone in the market for a new puppy.
