Oct. Meet Sign up!
 
Ok everybody, please sign up for the Oct meet. When: Sat. Oct. 22
Time: 3:00
Where : Markham Park, Weston
Some of our babies will be dresing up in there costumes, but if they don't want to it's ok. We just want you guys there.
Please don't forget to sign up so I can know how many people are coming for refreshments and goodies!

Y'all be carefukl taking the dogs to the parks! The canine flu is spread in parks, kennels, etc. I just read an article on it! :eek:

On a side note-
Does anyone know where I can find a costume small enough.... Matise is 3 lbs. and about 8 1/2- 9 inches long so I can't find anything small enough... :( help.......

I was able to find one for Kya and she weighs almost 3Ilbs. at La Bone, Also Pets are People too, they didn't have any when I went but Donna did tell me they were waiting on them.Pets are people too is on Taft and Douglas.
If your coming from Flamingo you would head north to Taft turn right on Taft head east and just before Douglas they are on the left hand side in Golds gym shopping center, Burger king and Cinema video.

Go to Disney.com they have xsmall ones or have I believe Chloej make you one, she is making a cute minnie mouse one.

I have some sad news. I do not know if we will be able to attend because Matise was diagnosed with a liver shunt on this past wednesday, and will be having surgery on this coming tuesday. So I do not think that the vet will release him by the 22nd. I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about Matise having the Liver Shunt. He's going to do just great, I know he is going to be as good as new, even better! All the problems he was going through will all be gone. I am sorry that you guys won't be there., but I'm so glad that you are taking care of this immediately as well.I will most definetely keep Matise in my prayers, everything is going to be just fine. Promise me you'll keep us posted on his recovery.

:happyboun Yes, the meet is still on for Sat. the 22nd at 3:00. I'll post the adddress of the park and directions on how to get there tomorrow.. I just can't wait to see all of our furry babies again!It's going to be so much fun!

For those of you coming from the south of Weston it's really very easy to get there.Take I -75 north to Exit Arvida Pkyway.
Bare right and turn right on the first stop light which is Weston Rd.
Stay on Weston Rd. about 3 miles until you pass the over pass head straight you will end up in the park. Do not make any turns after the over pass just head on straight you will end up at the parks entrace.

Sorry! Because of Wilma we're going to have to cancel! If there is anyone that is willing to step up to the plate and host Nov. meet please let us know. Unfortunately I cannot, this coming week-end Oreo will be in the ring, and the following I have surgery.

I don't know about anyone else but If the weather is good tomorrow I think we should still get together, the storm won't be in this area till MONDAY. I know that I'm not the only one who has bought a costume and was looking forward to getting together.....anyone else want to meet at Markam Park?
