Anybody in the NC area? This is such a great place to meet yorkie lovers alike I was just wondering if I am close to anybody!!!!!

Hi there! I'm in NC, Charlotte area....still a little drive from Durham though. Do you ever come this way??? I haven't posted much lately.

OH MAN!! I just moved from Charlotte. I was living off of Independence, and then Tryon...but I also didn't have my Thor when I was there. Too bad our doggies can't have play dates!

I live in South Florida, Ft. Lauderdale area. Everyone I know here thinks that North Carolina is just heaven on earth. They like to vacation there.
In fact they say "Everything is better in North Carolina."
Just thought I'd share that with you.

I live halfway between Fayetteville and Sanford...Annadoodle lives on Fort Bragg and Bella0722 lives in Sanford....there's another that lives in Raleigh but can't think of her username at the moment...there's more of us here than you think! :)

I live about 45mins. west of Boone, or an hour above Asheville, in Tennessee. (But I'm FROM Charleston, SC and proud of it :D )

People always seem to say that about NC when they don't live here :) . I just got back from FL from vacation it was fabulous. True it is nice here, but its always nice to get away from here. It just seems like there are not as many YorkieTalkers around in my area, but hopefully with this thread I can find some playmates for Thor!

There are several of us who have agreed to meet for a Playdate. As previously mentioned, there is NCYorkie, Annadoodle, Zeus MOm, myself, and hopefully you as well. I have been in touch with the others, so PM me. We've thought about a park, but it's been so hot and humid here. It would be nice to do a Playdate at a park early in the morning, or wait till Fall when it cools a bit. Suggestions are welcome. Please PM me so I can get your name, etc, and keep you updated with the Playdate

Hi! I am from Blowing Rock, NC. I grew up in Charlotte and went to college in Boone (right down the road) fell in love with my fiance and never left Blowing Rock. I would meet up for a playdate, but poor Princess is still in the hospital in Charlotte. Hopefully soon though! :rolleyes:

I've been keeping up with your little princess and I am so sorry she is ill :( I live in Charlotte. If there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to ask! Which vet is she at...if you don't mind me asking? I could even check in on her if you'd like. Hopefully princess will be well and back home before the playdate is put together!! :)

Hopefully she will be home tomorrow! She is at Carolina Vet. Specialists off South Tryon. They have done a great job with her and they always call me everyday and give me the latest. My parents live there, so my mom is there everyday to see her. Thank you so much for offering to help and check up on her. That is so sweet. Yes, when she does get better, I would love to set up a play date!!! :p

Hey there-
we live in Cornelius right on Lake Norman. We just moved here from St. Louis. It's really pretty here. I have 2 yorkies their names are Amos and Lexy. Lexy is still a puppy, but Amos is showing her how it's done. If you guys decide to plan a play date, send me a PM. Amos loves everyone and knows no strangers-animals or people. Lexy is only 10 weeks old so I'm sure she'd have fun playing too! :)

We are going to be planning for the Eastern NC Play Date soon.
We had had our first about a month ago, but was too hot. But now that it is starting to cool off, we definitely want to go ahead and get things moving so we can all meet.

As you may know, I will be going to Arizona in less than two weeks to get Lipstik, so then I will have a sister for General Patton. But as soon as I return, I promise to get in touch with all who have expressed interest in meeting. For those who are new to YT and live closeby to Eastern part of NC, please PM me if you are interested in joining. I can't wait to meet you and your furbabies!

We have many YT from Eastern Part of NC and are in the process of getting a Playdate scheduled. I will be going to Arizona Sat(tomorrow) to pick up a female yorkie sister for General Patton. Hi, We're proud owners of our first Yorkie. She's almost 12 weeks old and her name is Toby. We live in Apex, NC. We also have a golden/yellow lab mix that's 3 years old. They get along great. I might have lots of questions for you!

We are in the process of getting an Eatern NC PlayDate arranged at a park(hopefully leashless) probably in Raleigh. If you're interested, you can PM me! Would love to meet you and all the others(abiut seven other YT'ers) who have expressed an interest.
