PHOTOS-Kernersville NC Meetup 5/10/08 1 Attachment(s) Carolin, thank you ever so much for putting the meetup together yesterday! I can tell you Wosie and I had great fun, and she slept like a ROCK as soon as we got home!:p I am terrible with names, so you would have to remind me who is who in this pic below! Here's a slide show of the rest of the pics. Enjoy! Slideshow of May 10 2008 NC YT Meetup - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting |
Interesting yorkie... 1 Attachment(s) Thought you'd all like to see a pic of a 1 pound 6 oz THREE YEAR OLD. Nope, I am not kidding. Jeannie thinks he may be a record holder. His name is Pinto Bean. Appropriate, I'd say! |
Good people photo, BUT!! 1 Attachment(s) This is so funny, it's like when the picture was snapped, someone said, "OK, all dogs look to the right... NOW!" lololol |
Bumpity bump bump:D |
Those are such good pictures and it looks like you had a nice group there. Now, whoever remembers the names needs to let us know who is who.:):p |
Thanks for sharing, it looks like a nice time had by all! |
Hi Glad, I'm glad you had fun! I'm happy those that came had good weather and a fun time.. The names are left to right, Vicki Swicegood and Barkley, Her mom Vi behind her with Stella, Glad and Wosie, Jeannie Harman with King Tut and Pinto Bean, Carolyn and Rusty on the far right. Not pictured is Jackson and Jackson's mom...they were off walking when the pictures were taken. |
Great pictures Glad! Looks like a good time was had by all :yay_jump: |

It really is nice to meet other yorkie owners and chat about our pups! First time yorkie owners always have questions about behavior, food, etc. Oldtimers who have had yorkies for 15-20 years or so get to share their knowledge, kind of like being on YT, only live in person! I really enjoy it. And my Wosie was completely amazing that day! She seemed quite content to watch everyone, and occasionally play-fight with the rambunctious boys. She knows how to put a rowdy dog in his place, lol. She seemed so content, I let her leash drop to the ground, and she wandered around by herself, keeping one eye on me all the time. If I thought she was getting a little too far away, I would just give her her attention noise, and she would come running back to me. I think she impressed some folks, lol. She sure impressed me!:D I was very proud of her! |

Sure looks like a lot of fun. Only "meet-up" I've ever gone to the dog of honor did a disappearing act! (For those who are:confused:that would be when we went to get Maddie and she ran away for over 24 hours) |
