Al Meet-up
 
With the weather getting prettier I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a little meet-up It is so hard to find yorkies for Andy to play with. If anyone is interested I'll take on most of the responsibility of putting it together

I would be interested! I would just have to play it by ear and see how things go...I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 17 month old and my husband works full time...so I wouldn't know if I could come until close to time. I think that is a GREAT idea!!!

We could only do a weekend thanks to my own work schedule. maybe one of the first couple of weekends in April. (since we have Easter coming up)

did i miss it? just got here and would love to meet in B'ham. i work 7on 7off and this is my off week. gonna miss the show @Brierfield this year.:mad: RATS!!
will be showing in Montgomery though. i have 7 yorkies and 2 puppies :eek: that are almost 6 mos old. i only show 1 though. my other hopefuls were too small:aimeeyork . i've been owned by yorkies for almost 15 years but have only had 2 litters so i'm still learning...a lot.

Depending on when it is and whats going on with my schedule I would be interested in a meetup! I am in school at Auburn but when Im not in school I live in Florence which is in the northern part of alabama. After like May 9 I will be in Florence for the whole summer! (unless I take a summer class:rolleyes:)

Anyone have an issue with tuscaloosa? I know a good park but am having trouble finding one in bhm. And I want to shoot for sometime in June eart to middle part.I need feedback ladies!

Birmingham Dog Parks:

George Ward Park. Disc Golf Course/Dog Park. This is a great disc golf course and dogs roam free and happy for acres. There is a creek of sorts on the far end for the dogs to get a drink and take a dip. Location: Green Springs. Directions: Exit 258 Greensprings Ave. off I-65, east, then left on Green Springs Hwy, 0.5 mile, right at 16th Ave. (1st light), then right through the old Apts. up hill past Tennis Center, stay left to back parking lot.

Rhodes Park. Large park with plenty of room for dogs to run and play; lots of friendly dogs on evenings and weekends; No fence. Location: Highland Avenue. Directions: HW 31 N to Highland Ave; turn right; continue on Highland until you come to Rhodes Park (2nd of three parks on Highland).

What is a disc hold course? And those sound good I couldn't find a park with an aleaft fence either.

disc golf is that frisbee lookin type game...dunno anything else about it tho! LOL.

Hi yorkie moms,,, we're way down here in lower al,,,just north of mobile,,, don't see anyone else from this far down. Winston's almost 6 months, boy is he a handful. Sounds like fun:)
