Pet-friendly lodging in Orlando? Anyone know of any (tried and trusted) pet-friendly lodging in Orlando (preferably 10-15 minutes from Disney World)? Has anyone stayed at the Loews at Universal Studios? Thanks! |
I havent stayed there but have had people tell me they had a good experience... Maybe someday Disney will become more Pet Friendly.... its why I havent been since I got my babies.... Good Luck! Please post if you find the right place! d |

I am thinking about renting a house as it's pretty reasonable and I wouldn't have to worry about housekeeping (although that is something I'll MISS!) or anyone else coming in. I looooove the Disney resorts so my only concern of staying in a house is that it won't be Disney enough. :( We'll see though! |
we have stayed at royal pacific.    it is very expensive....we have also rented a luxury home with a pool. beware of some nasty pet friendly lodging in orlando. i wouldn't go near some of the 1 -3 star places. i would be scared of fleas. keep your eyes in the sky in florida. they have a lot of hawks. |

royal pacific is very nice. we stayed there 2x when it was new. romeo felt very comfortable and the staff was very dog friendly. |
I just got back from Orlando! I originally booked a non friendly hotel because a friend was gonna watch my pup. The some things happened and he coulsnt watch Meeko. I was freaking out because i already payed for my hotel and i couldnt change it. I called around for some pet resort and found a good one. its called vip pet resort and he stayed there and loved it. it was rough not being able to see him and sleep with him but he was a lot easier. We didnt have to worry about in the disney kennels. and when the pets are in there you have to come out (the kennels are usually in the farthest corner of the parking lot, took me 30 mins to walk there from the park front gate) to give them food and walk them. soo it was nice knowing he was being walked and fed. it wasnt that expensive, but then again ive never done this before. it was 29 a night, and i paid 6 for him to play with the other dogs for 4-5 hours. he loves playing with other dogs. when he picked him up he was very happy. hope this helps! |

Nikki, what is a capstar? I dont have Jacoby on any flea prevention yet...you think I should look into it? |
We haven't ever stayed in a hotel in florida.....but there are some YT'ers that have stayed in a rented home..... that allows pets. You could probably do a search. I remember that the pics looked really nice. |
We stayed at Loew's in Universal. Very nice....highly recommend. I did not have a pet with me though... You can become a loew's club member and receive a discount when you present your card on check in. Sign up at the loew's website. |
La Qunita's are pet friendly also. I've stayed at those in a couple of different cities. |
