I need help managing my time!
 
I am trying to balance my life here. :D I usually try to check into YT daily or so (but all too often I get sucked in for longer than I planned).

I was wondering what everyone used as a "system" on this forum. Do you search the threads for interesting topics? Do you just go in order of date? Do you stick to your User Control Panel checking on your subscriptions? Do you look for posters that you know/enjoy/like to spy on? Lately, I've been looking for threads with small number of replies, because I think it can be frustrating to new members to post at the wrong time and have one's thread get lost before receiving any replies.

I'm a manager and all about efficiency and time management. But everything I teach my staff seems to go out the window when I'm here on YT. :p Thought I could learn a thing or two (or the million I've already learned) from you!!

I always try to go with the ones with the least amount of answers like you do. I think it would make you feel bad if you felt like nobody wanted to answer your threads. Then I go onto the pictures, because everyone wants to hear how nice their babies are, and then I go back and look for threads I haven't replied to yet. I hate to leave anyone out.

ooohhhhhhhhhh...this is such a cute thread.........I've just been thinking lately that I just have to manage my time and "just say no" to YT sometimes....I thought the labels under the avs were put on their by the members....then I saw that I went from a newbie to a yakker!!!......I'm going to slowly taper down now but it seems just when you want to rush in here and take a quick look you see something and go "Oh my gosh I have to answer that"!!....I got home before midnite from work last night then stayed up til the wee hours doing paperwork that I have to get to the PO today..stuff I should have done in the a.m. ..I guess it's like everthing in life you have to find the balance.....this forum is too fun...that's the problem.....

Well, if you figure out the time management thing let me know! I work from home and keep telling myself I will only check in for a few minutes then work. It is always longer. I just have to convince myself to wait until after work, but you know that is not possible! :D

Help! I think I am addicted!!!:eek:

It's that time warp thing that happens here. I am sure there is a scientific study underway to determine how a few minutes stalls into an hour! ;)

I personally open each section, and pic the threads that I want to see what was said. Now, remembering which page I posted on last...that is another story! haha

Do you use your User CP? It helps keep track of your subscribed and posted threads. I seem to just get stuck in there sometimes!! ;)
