Google Ads Gone?
 
I just noticed that there are colored ads at the top of the screen. I know that there used to be Google ads. Then I did a search and saw chattiesmom post about accidental porn. I understand that these ads might pay more than Google, but let me say that I've seen ads similar to these put viruses and other bad things on forums, make pop ups, have adult ads (not necessary porn), etc. I'd suggest putting back the old Google ads, they are much less intrusive. Plus they are now on top and the bottom. Of course, that's just my suggestion. ;)

The google ads were top and bottom just like these are.

Another thing to consider here is that the Goggle ads had a petstore ad once that I pm'ed ADMIN about. The response was that they would research more to see what could be done. Since then I haven't seen any more of those petstore ads.

I didn't see the adult site ad mentioned, but I heard that ADMIN dealt with it quickly and efficiently.

Admin came in... kicked butt and didnt even stop to take names!! :D


The ads did not show any nudity, just scantily clad women. It could have been worse.

I'm not worried so much about what the ads are showing b/c I don't look at them anyway. I just hope they don't start having pop ups and putting viruses. Some of these ad companies are shady.

Oh, and not knowing there were Google ads on the bottom just proves to me how "un" intrusive they were! ;)

You have a point with that. :D I even clicked on the new ads to look at a couple of items, so I definitely notice them more. lol

I just hated the Google ad for...I think it was...puppypalace.com or something like that? I am so glad those aren't there anymore.

I paid for for google ads specifically for Yorkie Talk. It looks like I will have to change.

No ads on YorkieTalk have ever or will ever contain viruses or other problems. We have used pop-up window ads nor do we plan on them in the future. The ads served on YorkieTalk are used to maintain and run the community and are from reputable established advertising companies.
