New server I was wondering if they new server is all in place? Things have been awful here.:( |
I have been wondering the same thing. I think an update would be nice -- since donations were solicited for this purpose. This morning I could not get on YT for quite some time and now it is taking forever to go from page to page. I left here and checked a couple of other sites -- they are all working smooth and fast. So, the problem is here on YT. |
Same here everything else is Johnny on the spot. I'm losing my patience trying to look at threads that won't load!:eek: |

I Know Tell me about it. It took me about half and hour to finally get on today but I know it's taken me longer on other occassions. |
Well for having server problems I really didnt notice any disruptions untill today. The site has been down alot today. Hopefully we will be getting the new server soon |
The forum to forum jump andd page turning have been going on for what seems a month or so. I have been getting the 'cannot find server' a lot today. i just figured they are working on the new server and all our problems will soon be over thanks to our wonderful admin. |

Me too. :( Sometimes it won't let me log onto the site for a long time and I just give up. But when I can log on, it's hard sometimes to answer a post. It takes forever to load and preview. :confused: I hope this is ok, it won't let me preview again..... Ugh......:( :( |

We have leased the new server and we do have access to the new server now. We will be moving YorkieTalk over to the new server in the next few weeks. Today, we were working on our current server and the new server as well, which has been causing some problems. We sincerrely apologize for the inconvenience. |

Thanks for being so patient! We're working very hard trying to fix current issues and move everything, our team has been working on it for over 5 hours already today. |

I'm just so happy all the wonderful knowledge, adorable pictures, wacky comments, drama, you name it, is being transferred over. I was on another site, they got a new server and dumped every bit of everything that was posted in the past. Needless to say, I was done with that site. :( So, as frustrating as it is, I can deal..........:p Thanks Admin for transferring all of our beloved posts........ |
Whoa! I am glad I read this...I was getting ready to PM Admin because I didn't know what was up. I knew it wasn't my computer, so I was getting alittle worried. The posting is what is getting me...it takes soooo long and sometimes, it boots me off and I have to log back in and repost. aurgh...but, it will all be worth it when the new server is up and running, right?! Is this the reason I that I getting hit and miss threads sent to my email? I have suscribed to some and I have only been getting a few in my email. |

? signing in on yt I have been needing to sign in each time to get into YT to post or get pm's what do I do to eliminate having to do that? Thanks. I also want to apologize, I posted picture in the yorkie discussion thread and was having difficult time with seeing in doing my post and of the picture, and goofed on doing two more posts after it, I didnt mean to do that. Ask and ye shall receive! Everything is fixed! This site is now as fast as any! No more hung up pages! No more scrolling issues! No more trouble getting into the site! So glad to be rid of that Server not found page too! Awesome!!!! I think problems are not always encountered the same, depending on service providers (dial-up, broadband, DSL etc). So, once again -- there may be a big difference in perceptions. Problems had also been happening at different times of day. When it would get really bad, I would sign off and come back later to find it was not nearly as bad. So, folks who saw "minimal" problems count yourselves lucky, but that is not the way of it for all. The server was much needed and welcomed wholeheartedly!!!! Thanks to admin for setting up the new lease AND for transferring ALL that history! What a task that must have been! Thanks to all who donated for the new server! Thanks to everyone for making this a site that does cause a little panic when we think it might be inaccessible. :) |
Great, It's a lot faster and definitely seems to have improved. Good Job YT team. Thank you for making it easier to share in our Yorkie community. |
