Suggestion For Admin what do you think?
 
I was thinking i am always on YT from work all day untill i leave at 5:30pm somehow i am always missing all the sales when someone post up clothes for sale. Maybee we can have a option on out account page that we click to be notified when ever there is a new item up for sale on here. The same way we get PM's maybe there can be one generated for items up for sale when something comes up a pm will pop and tell you where the link for the sale item is.

Hmm i dont i would love that i always seem to find the threads after it's to late and everything is gone. :(

Can't you subscribe to an individual forum and it alerts you to new threads? I thought that was what that option was... maybe I'm wrong :confused:

The problem with that would be the thread has to be existing in order to subscribe for it! So if you were away and a new thread was started for sales, then you would be notified.

Yeah I know that... what I said was if you subscribe to the FORUM, i.e, the for sale one, then it will notify you of new THREADS...

Yeah you can... Go to the forum you want to subscribe to and open it... click on forum tools and it's one of the options.

Yes, Gypsy & Me is correct, you can go to the actual forum you want to get daily email updates on and then click "Forum Tools" then "Subscribe to this Forum".

You can get daily updates, but if you don't get them till the end of the day, it's too late for a lot of the stuff for sale.... :(

Can you change your setting on the subscribtion to instant? If you can you should be alerted to each new one rather that a summary of the new threads for the day :)

You can't change the setting to instant, only daily and weekly... I was wrong

WHAT??? YOU were wrong? Can't be! :D

I didn't see an instant setting on the forum either...

You can do it when you edit options, but to me it looks like you can only do that with threads you're subscribed to..

There just has to be a way... if I don't keep buying things, I might get out of debt and then where would I be? :rolleyes:

At least I'm able to admit when I'm wrong! :p

I thought the settings would of been the same with the Forums like they are on the Thread subscritions but obviously not... oh well, I was right about subscribing to the forum though... Admin said so! :p

Unfortunately, there is no option to get an instant email when there is a new thread in a certain forum. You may want to bring this to the attention of your favorite storeowners, so they can perhaps "extend" sales for more than just one day or night. Also, you can check YT every hour or two and see what new threads there are in any particular forum. :)
