How Do you "attach" Pictures?

If you hit quote, it comes up like [attach][/attach] (with a few numbers in between). How did she do this? It doesn't say attached thumbnails like when I upload photos.

LOL :D All you have to do is click on the number of the post. You are #3, so I clicked the #3 and just your post popped up. Then I copied and pasted the URL. ;)

Nicole - I don't know how it happens. When I post pics it attaches them this same way. I've wondered what I'm doing wrong to not have the "attached thumbnails" above my pics? When I click on attachments, a window appears - allows me to browse my pics and upload. Close that window and click "manage attach.". Hi-light the image code and click - this is what I get. I would be happy to know of any other way, don't like looking like the odd one out, ya know, lol!

just trying to figure this out
she says she clicks attachments first then manage attachments

We all click
manage attachments first

So when you click manage attachments, where do you find the code to highlight

I still can't get it. What "code" are you talking about?

It's not really a code it is just the picture number assigned by my computer.
When I click on the paper clip the "Manage Attachments" box drops down. After clicking on the Manage attach., then the upload box appears, that is of course where I browse, upload the pic, then close the box. I then click again on the paper clip and the "manage attach." box drop down, this time though with the pics numbers I've uploaded. I have to click on the pic number and then my pictures appear as they do.

After you have uploaded from that box and close it, do your pictures just come up as the "attached thumbnails" with out doing anything further?

LOL...Now, I'm beyond confused. In the above post - I was playing around and have no idea how I got that pic to post with the "attached thumbnail". I've never been able to do that before.
