I might want to say good bye to YT
 

I am a little bit upset. And I can say it out loud. People were very rude to me at chat. I went to chat.. and finally saw people.. so I was very happy. I wanted to have a nice chat about myself getting a puppy, and ask some questions live.. I have been coming to online everyday but nobody is there usually.

And people were playing TRUE and Dare.. which I didn't mind. But it had adult content .. big time.

I just don't understand why people can swear and talk about sex on the yorkie chat but then admin and moderators are super careful about what is said on this forum. I just don't understand. People were very disrespectful and I was kinda asked to leave. Is this the ethics and policy for YT? I am not sure. .

No, I am not under age... and I lied that I was but I just felt very uncomfortable at chat today, and I was wondering why I had to be pushed away when I came to talk about yorkshire terrier. This has been an issue for me.

Everyone knows that I love yorkies.. maybe this is a cultural difference.. maybe so... but I don't know.. Maybe I am just too sensitve.

I am just disappointed. I am very sad to say.. but.. I am disappointed.

I thank YT.. for so many things. This place helped me find wonderful friends and breeders.. Everyone was nice to me most of part. But I think I will leave for good. I don't really like to be treated the way I was treated. And it was not acceptable to me.

Anyway.. I wish I could be here and show you guys pics of my pups.. but.. oh well.

Anyway.. take care. Maybe I come back when people are not judgemental about who I am.

Im so sorry you were treated badly in chat. Are sure that you were in YT chat? I heard of someone else that had the same problem you did, and admin said that probably she was on another chat room by error. Since the last update on the YT server people has being having problems getting into chat. Maybe you should contact admin because if you were in YT chat room, that language and behavior is not allowed.

Did you notice any familiar names from YT in the chat area? As someone said, you may have been in a wrong chat room. Just, please don't give up on YT now. You are upset. Please wait until you feel better, and then come back. Some people say some stupid stuff on the Internet, and you shouldn't take it personally. Everyone loves you here! Especially since you didn't even have a Yorkie and you waited so long. You HAVE to stay and see pics. I was going to tell you that I saw a matching carrying bag at Target today that would match your pretty bed. Did you see it? If you are interested just let me know. ;) And remember again, if it really was the YT chat area you were in, not everyone is rude, right? Don't base a decision on one time in the chat area, okay? Pretty please. :D

Michiko, I am sorry that you had that experience. I personally have not gone into the chat. I would feel the same way that you do if I were treated that way.:eek:

Oh my gosh Michiko I'm sorry! I've been in the chat many many many times and I've never seen anything like that. like a few other people said, maybe you were just accidently in a different chat? please don't leave...:(

I'm so sorry this happened to you. I have never gone into chat here on YT so I can't say what they talk about. I hope you decide to stay. We have different opinions and we may agree to disagree, but I have yet to see anyone be disrespectful in that way. You should definitely report them to admin.

I was on when you came on and I am sorry if we made you feel unwelcome. There was some adult content, but it ended the second a real young person got on. I am sorry that you felt that way. There are times when the content can be for adults, but everyone in the chat room knew when to stop. I am sorry that there were so many people on and that they were engaged in something you did not want to talk about. Please stay on YT. I am sorry if I offended you.

We are sorry you experienced rudeness in chat. Since chat is in real-time and is provided as an additional service to YorkieTalk, it is impossible for us to monitor everything that is said in chat.

Since the chat room was filled with adults of age, they can and may talk about anything they wish including adult-related topics, as long as they don't personally attack anybody in chat. We can not control what members say in chat, but as long as they follow YT guidelines they are welcome in chat.Members do know that they need to be appropriate when there are underage children in chat, but they know and care enough about you to know that you were not a minor. The members that were rude to you will be warned, but we see no personal attacks towards you at all in our chat logs.

We value you as a member of our community and have always appreciated your kindness and good spirit.

Please don't leave. I love your posts and would miss them. Just say no to chats and stick to forums. :D :ghug:
