Reading a thread and poof it's gone...why? I was reading a thread from a member that's leaving and poof it is gone when I went to reply....What happened? And why? |
They always remove threads where someone says they are leaving. I quess they feel it is not good for yorkietalk morale or something. |
They sure removed that one quick!! I was wondering the same thing!! |
I didnt read it and I am curious as to why that person is leaving. I didnt see anything bad happen to her on here. |

We have had a long-standing policy of not allowing "Goodbye" posts which speak negatively of YT or YT members. If a member wants to leave YorkieTalk, they are free to do so, or they can email us to disable their account. No one is forced to be on YT. There is no reason to post a thread bashing YT along with YT members in a "Goodbye" post. Other people have also tried to get attention or sympathy through such posts, and this is not what YT is all about. There have been times when a "Goodbye" post is warranted and justified, such as if a member has lost a Yorkie and can't bear to come back onto YT because of that. Also, we have not had any communication with alaskayorkie and his account is still active. He's not in trouble with us or anything of the sort... |

I understand about bashing but what about those who bash others in private pm's? Are they disciplined? I understand why porkieyorkie left and it is really sad that some on here say horrible things about others they do not know, that's why she left I guess. She got pm's bashing who she was getting the puppy from. I know admin can read private pm's and I hope they do do something with those people.... |

You know we all get excited about getting a new fur baby, what should it matter to anyone else who we get it from. We should just be happy for them.. I'd say those that are doing the bashing are just unhappy people and misery loves company. |

As stated in our Guidelines here: 9. This rule applies to Private Messages as well. If you attack another member in a private message, you may be suspended or banned depending on your actions. YorkieTalk will not tolerate ANY PERSONAL ATTACKS. If you receive a private message that is an attack, do not delete it and do not respond. Immediately message admin and let us know who sent the attacking message and when they sent it. We will verify the message was indeed sent by that person and appropriate action will be taken if necessary. Private messages are not for creating arguments, not for spamming, and not for trying to influence people to be on your side in a debate. They are for helping people with their Yorkies, asking general questions, and helping one another. --- When we receive complaints of PMs with personal attacks, we deal with them then. However, in this case, we did not receive any complaints or feedback on any bad PMs. |

I am glad admin posted what they did. I just wished they could get her pm's and read them. She told me all about them and she went back in after I told her to contact admin and she said the pm's were not there now. I tried to help her figure it out but then I guess they closed her down after her post. |

No that person has not dealt with this breeder. It's all about jealous people I think. Well she can't come back as she emailed and told me they won't let her back on. So I guess she is gone. |
We have not received any emails from anyone regarding this situation, this thread is now closed. |
