Do you need help resizing pictures?
 
First thing you can do is download infranview: http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm
After it's downloaded, install it to your computer. After it's installed, click on it.... go to "file" at the top and click on "open". Now, find your picture, click on it and click on "open". Now, click on "image" at the top, and scroll down to "resize"... click on it. Now, change the numbers to be 600 x 800 and click "OK". Now, go to "file" at the top, go down to "save as" and save it. Then go to yorkietalk and upload your newly sized picture! Voala! Now, you're a pro :) GOOD LUCK!

Still trying to figure out how to attach the picture bigger. HOw do you make the picture show with out posting as an attachment.

When posting, click on manage attachments. Then click on browse and find your picture, then click upload. Then it should show up under your post.

I think in order for the picture to show up on the post instead of just words like your's did in the post I quoted, it has to be in the .jpg format. I could be wrong but I think that's it. The picture attached to the quoted post is in the .bmp format. :)

someone already said it but YES...Change it to a .Jpeg and it will show as a thumbnail

Also a good program Easy PixResizer - very easy to install and use and it gives you the option to save your pictures as a JPEG file

I use Irfanview and it doesn't work half of the time...most of my pics are still near 600 kb....even after resizing to 600 x 800..so I don't really know what to do....any suggestions?

This is one of the easiest program on the net to resize your pics....http://bluefive.pair.com/free95.htm

Scroll to PixResizer……Download the program..it’s really small and very easy to install – Depending on the size of your image ...you just have to click ONE SIZE (USUALLY 50%) or 460 Pixels and it resizes it for you... there is a place you can MANUALLY type in 460 Pixels and that's the perfect size for posting here

Remember - if your original image is HUGE - you may have to size to 25%....What I do for some peoples pictures is just type it in the space provided and I get perfectly sized pics that way

The picture below is the WHOLE program - it's that easy

Cool Program! This is great that people are giving so many great ideas! Sometimes the picture thing is difficult to figure out at first, but then is a cinch as soon as you catch on. Keep up the good work!!
