no larger picture view I'm having a problem seeing a larger picture view when I click on a thumbnail picture in a post. It just started a couple days ago and instead of a bigger picture I get a blank screen with this header: YorkieTalk Yorkshire Terrier Community ::: My Yorkie Pictures ::: My Yorkie Videos ::: YT Photo Gallery I am using a MacBook Pro with Firefox v27.01, but when I use Safari browser the picture comes up normally. Is there a problem with the YT site, or is it with Firefox? |
I was having the exact same problem and could not figure out what the heck was happening. Then, I tried unblocking the page via my AdBlockPlus, and voila, the picture showed up again. So, if you're using an ad blocker, it's likely from that....you have to disable it on the larger picture page. |

I have enjoyed seeing more content per page and fewer ads, and not having ads come up for things I've recently been shopping for. That makes me feel stalked.... and it's embarrassing sometimes. |

I just installed ADP a month ago when I heard about it on this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ad-banner.html I wonder if the other users on that thread have the same prob. I don't even know where the app is on my computer, but when I click on the ADP icon on my browser bar, then go to filter prefs, I see something called EasyList that was added on 3/23/14, which is about when the prob started. I really don't like apps that update or change things without asking me, and I'm gonna tell the developers that. There is an option to report probs under the icon menu, so here I go. |
Thanks for posting this & saving me HOURS of trying to figure it out on my own!! |
Same problem here! I've had AdBlock for years and never had an issue! Lame. I have it turned off right now. |
I have the same problem as well, and I installed Ad Blocker back when I saw that thread. If I am not mistaken it has eliminated all the ads that you are forced to watch before viewing a video so I like that those are gone. I don't plan on changing anything, so when I need to see a larger picture I will look at it on my lap top which does not have ad blocker. I am so glad that Sandy figured this out, because I sure would have not figured it out |
Wish I had seen this thread an hour ago because I just downloaded it! Where do I find it so I can disable it if I need to? I don't see it in my tray at the bottom of the screen. Thanks! |

I actually like the application, but didn't like when I couldn't see larger pictures for 3 days. Working fine now, and it is also possible that the developers fixed a bug in it anyway. |
Okay, I see it!! Thank you! I'm back in business! :D |
1 Attachment(s) My drop down quick menu for ADP is at the lower left corner of my Firefox browser...here is a screen cap of it: |

Likewise to others, I too find 'Adblock' a very helpful utility. Martin (iMac 8,1 - OS 10.6.8, Snow Leopard - Firefox 27.01) |
