The Games people play on YT and Cause and Effect
 

Some of us have been posting on a thread started by Toby's Human. Asked a hoonest oppions and we gave our views.

PuppyGirl a Newbie came on and asked questions that you would expect of someone who is new to the breed or needing and wanting more information.
That is great we all supplied what we knew and our thoughts.

Well someone (Shyyorkie) posts on the thread seems she knows PuppyGirl and this was all a set up. PG has a web site and is a breeder.

I find it sad that some one would want to come on to YT and hide their true self aand play games. Will it be hard to ever have any kind of trust in this person only time will tell. It does not seem to me that this was a good way to make new friends and I thought that this was the object of this site. Seems we have been split into sides once again. What benefit did PG get out of doing this? I don't know- I can't make sense. Was this person testing us to see what we believed in or just playing games. If it was a test did we pass?.

Will many of us think twice before we post on a thread you bet- many of us may not want to answer threads when someone asks a question. IMHO a big injustice was done to YT and all those who are members. You just sit with this cloud sitting on your shoulder not knowing if it is real or not.


There was a Newbie whose thread I posted on today upset because no one had gave her a response. A possible reason you just don't know anymore when it is a true question or someone who wants to play mind games. Takes all the fun out of the site. Who suffers the person who realy has a question a concern or something that they wish to share with the rest of the group.

I'm sorry, but you have misjudged me. I am not playing games. I am an experienced breeder new to yorkies. I know a lot about dogs in general but not a lot about yorkies specifically.

Have I made a mistake posting on this forum? Are you all like this?

I just don't understand why someone would want to do this. I ususally don't post much about breeding because I feared that would happen. someone asking questions to play games or criticize others. Of course the time that I felt in my heart someone really wanted to know and was trying to learn, ends up being what I feared, someone in disguise.

This has happend to me recently on YT. Someone came on a thread I replied to challenged me directly and when asked some 'hot' questions they disapoofed!

If I had extra time in my life I would not be spending it pretending to be someone I'm not. People with 'issues' or envy do that stuff.

Oh well, thanks for posting this so I could vent.

Know what my favorite YT game is? Miniclip Snake. I have the high score. I don't care for this version of Pac-Man though, it is too hard to control with the arrow keys...oh...no you meant, Oooooh OK, we're back there again...
I don't know who is and isn't playing games. I really have more important things to do in my life other that sit around and mull about it. Time will tell who is serious and who isn't and in time you will be able to tell who starts conversations you want to stay clear of. I don't think you can help getting pulled into a heated topic now and again...especially if it is some topic you are passionate about. But for all that is holy, let's not start crap before it gets started and start threads just to have somewhere to complain.

I can only look at what you have or not provided. You could have said- Hi I am Jen I breed whippets- why is a roach back not considered a cosmetic flaw in yorkies when allowed in Whippets. I just used Whippets as an example as you spoke of them in the other post.


Why not encourage us to your website to see your four legged family. Everyone here loves to look at each others kids.

Please tell me what you mean by "Are you all like this? This forum is welcome to everyone and we do try to welcome everyone with a open and generous heart.

Many of us are gun shy as we have had others yank our chain- be banned from the site and still be here under a new name- have two identities - all these things Admin catches but it takes some time.

I hope that you can understand my concern.

There has been alot of drama going on today.. I see it in the thread names,,and I have stayed clear of them,, we all know the threads when ya look at them that are gonna end up with a nice Padlock on the left side of them. So I tend to agree with what you've said.. well said. I think sometimes we tend to forget this is an ONLINE FORUM,, that's it... not matters of life or death... Nothing that should take over your world.. We voice our opinions.. we talk Yorkies, we laugh we cry, we have a comman bond,,and a love of Yorkies,,, some might not play as well with others,, but that's life,, Dont let it ruin your day,,if it is,, you should not be involved.. it is meant to be fun, and jovial.. and occasionally you'll learn something you didn't know. Thats how I feel... OF COURSE JMO.... ;)

I don't breed whippets and never have. I am a dog fancier and have been for a long time. I have a lot of breeder/judge/vet friends. I am new to yorkies specifically and toy breeds in general. I hope to learn a lot from you all, but I can't leave my experience and knowledge at the door because I'm a new member here.

You have accused me of doing something I didn't do. Would you please apologize? You're holding me responsible for something that others have done and quite frankly you sound paranoid.

I don't know the situation afoot here...I don't know anything about Puppygirl or what is going on here so I will say my peace and be done with it. I think that by asking if we are all like this, it should be obvious what she means. The accusations made against here are very harsh if they are, in fact false. As I said, I don't know the situation at hand, but I thank God that my first day on the board, I was not greeted so similarly or I would have never come back. I am personally tired of the crap on the board for the past couple of days myself and have tried to stay out of it, but it is not going away! No offense to you wnalegria, I know you are tired of the games on the board and you have my respect as a breeder and fellow poster, but this thread seems to have been started as nothing more than a personal attack on another member. It seems you are falling into the same guilty category as those you complain about. Please don't fall to those levels. :rolleyes:

With all due respect Bam..something was said about Puppygirl. It was posted somone knew who she was. Kathy wasn't just assuming anything, she was maybe mislead and maybe that was a mistake.

I apologize to Jen for this because I am sensitive yet I don't know for a fact she's playing games and maybe she's not because the original accusation is not posted. This could be one of those silly 'misunderstandings'!!!

That person that posted that information has been known elsewhere to stir the pot...so, Jen, I'm sure this is all just a misunderstanding. Please don't go and let us get to know you! There's a lot to learn about yorkies...so keep your chin up!

I used whippets as an example and said so in my post becasue I think you used it as an example.

In the other thread Shyyorkie stated that she had visited your website and that you were experienced breeder. I saw that TX Shopper told you about this. It seems as though ShyYorkie edited the website comments from her post while I was typing my thread. It seemed from the previous threads posting that you were friends or aquainted. I made the mistake of repeating what was placed in print. For that I am sorry.

No one asks you to leave your experience and knowledge at the door we welcome it. I still do not understand why you did not want to be open about it.

Jen, I think and introduction thread would be great! :thumbup: Tell us about yourself and the experiences you've had with dogs...whether they be yorkies or any other 4 legged, furry friend.

Sorry you had a bad experience Jen. Hopefully in the future people will think back to valuable advice received in elementary school and remember that just because one person (or even two) said it...well then it MUST be true. Well, long story short, we all sound silly and ridiculous. I am just thankful that I was given the benefit of the doubt when I was a newbie here!
