Not able to get to yorkietalk Every night around 11pm I cannot get to yorkietalk no matter how I try. Is anyone else having this problem? |
It has been acting up lately for me as well. A couple of days ago I kept getting a blank white page that said this sight is currently down. Tried getting on through my phone and I got the same response. It does seem rather slow getting on as well. I've had to log all the way off and log back in...that finally did the trick about the 6th try. |
Yup, it's been slow for me too. Or acting up occasionally and not able to get onto the site. |

Yes very slow and at times I can not get it to load. And when I try to read a post it won't go. |
Me, too! I'm only on at night, except for weekends. It's frustrating. |

Yep, having problems with it being very slow. Or just not loading the site period. |

I've been having a heck of a time getting YT to load for me at night. It is being rather slow at times during the day as well. I'm going to go ahead and move this thread to a more appropriate section in hopes more will see it if they're also having problems. |
Thanks, we are still looking at some of the server issues we've had lately. Our tech had to save YT from a major crash last weekend, but we are happy to report we didn't lose one post or picture or anything. Thank you for your feedback and we hope we can get YT running at 100% again shortly. :) |

I am no expert, but I believe it is your database. Doing queries is almost as torturous as sitting through a root canal. It's been going on for a long time, but the past week has been awful. |
Last night was awful for me. After 8pm I was not able to get on at all, so I just gave up. I tried up until 11pm. Then just went to bed. It's so frustrating. |
I think it is fixed! :) It was down all night, so I am assuming someone was hard at work trying to fix it. Seems SO much better this morning. :) |
I had problems last eve also. This was the 2nd time in the past week for me. The first time it was saying a "Database Error". All of our "yacking" must be too much sometimes! :p |

Sorry, I tried updating the Yorkie Talk pages on facebook about the outage, but I knew not everyone would see the posts. Last night our tech admin took YT offline to find and repair the corruptions in our database. We knew we had issues before, but after the crash last week it was just...well... horrible IMO... Our tech worked on it for several hours late last night/this morning to get YT up and running for us and it is light years better today! I believe there are still a few fixes needed, but I'm grateful to have YT back and processing at more normal speeds. More offline time may be needed in the future, but not anytime soon hopefully. :) |
