Will we ever get to have siggy pictures?
 
I love on all the other forums how you can have some sort of banner or signature photo in there. It's another way of showing your cute dogs!

Of course, I realize some can be obnoxious, which is why it'd be nice to have some sort of rule, like no larger than 250x250 or something of the sorts. Only one picture/banner allowed, etc.

Just a thought, wondered why this forum never did it.

I prefer YT's limited pictures/graphics compared to other forums. It makes reading much easier for me. In other forums, posts basically get lost among all the pictures, which can get really repetitive seeing them over and over.

I do appreciate the avatars here.

The other problem with adding siggy pictures is that they would tax bandwidth, which means YT would need more money to operate.

I suppose for old people with sight problems like me :D, if we could have an option to turn off the siggy pics like we currently have for other things, that would work for me.

I concur. If there was a way to turn it off, then it'd be okay to me. I love that the pups can be shown off more, but on other forums I just hate scrolling through them. Takes longer to read threads.

I like having the avatars to show off our babies- but hate scrolling through all those signatures on other forums. Plus other forums that have them are usually very small with very few regular members.

Thank you for your suggestion. We believe that our member's content, knowledge, and information is the most important aspect of our community, thus we do not allow pictures in signatures, as members have said, it can really "clutter" up the thread and make reading the content harder.

You are always welcome to have animated avatars or links to your profile page or picture galleries or blog where you can show off your Yorkies in whichever way you would like. :)

Not really, the Chi forum is really big and has them, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Boston Terrier, alot of breed specific pretty large forums have them!
