How to unsubscribe?
 
I guess when I signed up on YT it is automatically set up to E-mail me everytime there's a reply to a thread I've posted in.

How can I change this? I love the site, but don't need my blackberry going off everytime someone posts. :yelrotflm

Click on thread tools and select 'unsubscribe'

To the left of the blue bar that's just under the YorkieTalk title, it says User CP.

Click on that, then in the 3rd box down on the left side of the screen click on Edit Options.

The second option under Messaging and Notifications is Default Thread Subscription Mode. Pull down the arrow and choose No Email Notification.

If you ever do want to be emailed when posts are made to a thread, you can make that change whenever you post or create that thread - that way you get emails only for it and not for all the others.

I'm like you. I was horrified when all those emails arrived but finally somehow I found out about how to choose settings that don't email every post! It's a lot better to me to just come onto the site and see what is there. YT is such a nice treat!
