Banning Suggestion
 
I would like to respectfully urge Admin to ban any member who threatens to put a dog down just because it's not selling fast enough, or for any other reason besides medical reasons.

For example, we recently had someone post:

I do not understand why people can be banned for verbally abusing another member, but they are not banned for psychologically abusing all of those members who truly care about dogs.

Admin, I'd also like to add that this is one of the ways some breeders manipulate the USDA, and in the video made by CAPPS, you will see a USDA breeder giving another pretend breeder advice. He says that if the USDA suggests any improvements that they should just tell the USDA that they'll have a "dispersal shooting", and the USDA inspector will back off. View Investigation Report The breeder adds, and "the USDA inspector knows I'll do it." My point is that this is a manipulative technique used by certain breeders and it should be forbidden here.

I agree with your post Nancy..comments like this should never be tolerated on YT. While I don't believe the OP would really do it she was playing with emotional blackmail and she knew it. It is very difficult for me to believe anything a person would say after comments like that.

I thought I was PMing you my question. Didn't realize I was posting on the thread. My question to you was maybe you didn't want anyone to post so it would stay on top to alert Admin....

But, dang it anyway, you always have the ability to post thought provoking suggestions/information. By the way excellent suggestion.

LOL, I did that once before, and it's a good thing I caught it in time, or I would have been banned! :D

I would also like to add...if the post fits; then you must be :banned:!!!

Posters who make suggestions (threats:rolleyes:) like that should not be tolerated...not even once...it should be so long, adios & hope to never read another thing you have to say...period!

I'm not sure about banning someone for saying it - the first time - but I definitely think that they should be suspended. Saying something like that is very distressing. And honestly, ya just don't know what people will do anymore. It's inappropriate to say and even worse for some young person to read.

I know that it was said in a heated thread but that was wrong.

I'm still shocked that the poster wasn't reprimanded in any way - not even a short suspension. I'll never forget the offhand way she mentioned having the girl PTS - I was literally sick to my stomach over it. This comment was unforgivable and I will never forget it.

While I agree she should be banned or suspended, I don't think you should stoop to her level, this is not even really a joke.
