Why aren't the members listed anymore?
 
It usually shows every member who is logged in at the bottom of the screen. Mine isn't showing that anymore. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Not there for me either. It took forever to even be able to get into YT today. The page wouldn't come up. I think something must be going on.

We are optimizing the YT database and server today and taking steps to reduce our server load. The "current members online" feature takes quite a bit of strain on the server and we were recommended to remove that to see if it helps improve performance of the site, so we have taken it off for the time being. Thank you.

It's running really slow for me too. Thanks, I was thinking I deleted it some how!

It had nothing to do with the ads. I had thought that and posted it, but my son told me I was nuts. haha Already KNEW that. :p

The world population was roughly 6.7 billion in 2008, so if if YT has 345 billion members in 40 years, that might be pretty amazing, especially considering a person is allowed one account per person... ;)

Yeah,we better increase our donations to help with the server load. :) I knew Admin would set me straight but honestly Yorkies are just too cool. I don't think I'm too far off, only by a couple of billion or two members. :p

I also believe yorkies will take over the world by 2050, so who knows. :yorkiesar

I noticed it too and can't say it's an improvement but understand the thinking - I've always used it for checking to see who was up at the buttcrack of dawn like I am -

also if someone is in crisis and needed a quick answer from say - a breeder who really knows their stuff ....it was a great tool to contact them and point them to something that may have been missed -

I hope it comes back.

I'm not personally aquainted with a lot of members on here. But, to me it was benificial to see if friends were on-line.....I know you can go to the main page to see whose on....but, now it's just an added step. I guess it's time to go back and practice "Patience is a virtue"

I know. I like to be able to see who's online too. Just me being nosey!:D
