YorkieTalk Guidelines & New Users Thread Reply here if you have anything to ask or anything we should add to the guide lines. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1996 |
Help! I would like to post a question but cannot get to a place that will allow it. You ask for suggestions for the guidelines, but if those are directions on how to use the site, I can't find them. Sorry! |
Hi, you can post a question by selecting any of the main sections, like General Yorkie Discussion, and clicking on the New Post button, which will allow you to make a new post. Let us know if you still have questions. Thanks. |
sorry |
Question About Breeding Hi; It is permissable for me to post a message, in my region, offering my dog for stud service? I have never done this before, and we are not breeders. We would just like a pup from Bear before I have him neutered. Thanks in advance. |
We do not allow Yorkie For Sale posts or solicitations from breeders outside of the United States and Canada. We do not allow stud service or looking for stud posts at YorkieTalk unless you are a Donating Member and you need approval by the administration first. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5459 |

posting on a forum I spent quite a bit of time twice on this site and can not find EXACTLY where to go to start a new post. I notice you wrote me this message 'Hello joyce it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums? We'd love for you to become an active member here" BELIEVE ME, I WOULD LIKE TO POST, BUT CANNOT FIND SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS FOR STARTING A NEW POST, SORRY. JOYCE Quote:

Hi Joyce, Here you go, step by step. I know it can be a bit confusing at first. ;) I will also email this to you in case you don't see this thread. 1. Go up top to "Forums" and click on it (right under the Yorkie's head). 2. Then scroll down and you will see many sections on the left hand side, i.e. General Yorkie Discussion, Training, etc. Click on the one that fits the general topic you'd like to discuss. 3. Now, look right on the left of the screen and it will say "New Thread." Click on that. 4. Then, fill in the Title and your message. 5. When you are finished, click "Submit New Thread." Now you have started your own question/comment thread. Good luck! :animal36 |
If you just want to post a rely to an exising thread go to the top or the bottom of the thread and hit post reply and type in your reply and hit submit |

I usually just hit "New Posts" from the start page and it did take me a few minutes to figure how to post a new thread. It would be an improvement to include a NEW POST option on the Thread Tools when you are reading through the posts so you don't have to go back to the index each time you think of a thread to add. JMHO. |
advice I would like to see a place where we could just get advice on how to care for these furry little guys. Such sweet little dogs but totally different from other doggies. I have so many questions and no one to answer them. Thanks! steph |

I have a quick question - how long before my messages stop having to be approved by a moderator? |

Hi, I have a quick question. I recently got married and my husband and I each have an account on Yorkie Talk. I would like to have my account deleted, husband and I are going to share his account. Please let me know how to do so. Thanks! |
YorkieTalk rules and guidelines. Hello, I know I am new to YorkieTalk and I will be honest I only joined as I heard that I was being bad mouthed on this website. In your rules it states this will not be tolerated. I do not understand why then it is allowed for me to be prosecuted without even having a voice. Then when I am contacted by a member to alert me I post and then when I come to respond to someone else's attack my message has to be reviewed. This does not seem correct. I have not attacked anyone or their names and reputations. Nor have I violated any rules but rather I have only defended my self. I am sorry if that seems wrong, but I always thougth this site was to provide good sound advice and suggestions. I love my animals as much as anyone else on this website and I will state that my animals are as well cared for, if not better than everyone on this website. I am not perfect, not do I claim to be. I am working on getting better in my practices as I hope everyone else is as it is impossible to be perfect and know everything. Do not worry about banning me from this site as I will do that myself as I do not like to be exposed to people who have nothing better to do that criticize others and judge them. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Laura Henson Biewer and Yorkshire Haven |
We welcome you to YorkieTalk. Members are free to discuss any opinions or topics they may choose here on YorkieTalk. Members may review or discuss breeders, vets, or web stores. I tried posting last night but I'm not seeing my post anywhere. Does it take a while to be approved or do I need to repost? Thanks! |

Posts from new members may be moderated and subject to approval before they show up. This will only happen if you have less than 10 posts. Posts are moderated several times throughout the day by moderators and admins. Also, your own posts will not show up under the "New Posts" link unless there is a new reply to your thread. Thank you. |
