There is a section near the bottom of the Forum Sections Index, for comments and suggestions, admin checks in there and answers questions.

You can post suggestions/comments/questions here - or you can PM me, another Mod, or admin. Any of those options are fine :).

LOL :D...I knew what you were sayin' :p -- I figured you hit "reply", but didn't see that she had posted her thread in the section you mentioned. All is good, you and me posted at almost the same time...I didn't see your post until after I posted mine :p.

I'm afraid I'm not very good at this and I get lost in so many posts.
Here it is and I hope I make sense: In the 'boarding our babies' posts, a member introduced the idea of babysitting trade time for each other, as an option to leaving our babies in those cold, professional facilities like kennels when we have to travel.

One of the members said that she would start it and the rest of us think this is a wonderful idea. I don't know if the topic should go in forums or in the board, where it may become a permanent sticky (?).

Please consider the proposal, it would help us so very much. Thanks:thumbup:

We would like to start a Forum for babysitting where members can go to swap babysitting with other members. Fantastic idea. I'm not sure who mentioned it, but it was a great idea! Thanks for considering it! :)

What a neat idea...

I think as long as it was clear that YT could not be held responsible for yorkies in other people's care, etcetera, it might be okay. Admin would probably need a little time to be sure this didn't conflict w/ any legal issues.

If it was okay, perhaps a good place for a sticky would be the Traveling Forum...?

Trading Babysitting would be awesome!!!

There will probably be alot involved with it, so we know our fur babies are in good hands...But am willing, able and excited to help!

especially making sure our babies will be safe and well taken care of. I think it's better than the alternative, just thinking of leaving my babies in a cold-cage in some building with people who see them as a means to an end, makes me want to cry :(

Thank you for your suggestion! Since YorkieTalk is global with members from thousands of different cities and from many countries, one forum for everyone to find a babysitting swapper would be quite hard to navigate.
