Someone who is computer savvy really needs to make a YORKIETALK APP for iphone and blackberry. PLEAAASSSEEEE :)

You would need a Blackberry and or IPhone software developer nether of which I am (I manage an application portal the financial industry).

I believe there is someone on here who's husband is a Blackberry Application developer, but cannot remember who.

Apple (IPhone) is a different story, Apple has to accept the application before we would be able to load it to our IPhones or ITouch's. From what I understand that is a long process and can take awhile.

I do agree, would LOVE an IPhone application.

What a GREAT idea. It's so hard to look at YT on my iPhone - takes forever to load and the font is so tiny. I wonder if Apple has a suggestion box or something.

There is an app called tapatalk that contains iphone friendly versions of loads of forums - could we even get yorkietalk added to it

I would definately donate to the creation of a blackberry app!!!! :) I look at YT on my phone all the time!

We'd have to talk to the admins. I think they have to install a server extension. I agree, though. It'd be great!

i posted a similar thread to this today. i just downloaded the tapatalk app. how do we get admin to add YT to it?

We have been able to implement a version of YorkieTalk specifically for iPhones and other mobile devices, such as iPod Touch, Blackberry, and Android phones.

We have not checked each and every feature of the mobile YorkieTalk, so if you find any bugs or issues, please let us know and we will look into it.

The first time you use it, you may need to change your default style on your mobile device from YorkieTalk.com Style to Mobile YorkieTalk, in the drop down box near the bottom of the page.

Just go to the main forums directory of YorkieTalk from your mobile browser and you will find a mobile version of YorkieTalk! Feel free to add the link as a bookmark, or if you have an iPhone, go to the forums link, then click the + button, select "Add to Home Screen" and you can add YorkieTalk as an icon on your iPhone page. You may want to edit the name to "YorkieTalk" so it fits better on your home screen.

(If you go to YorkieTalk.com from your phone, click on "Yorkshire Terrier community" or "Message Board" to enter the YT forums.)
