I wish there was a rule that said.... If you go somewhere else and unfairly bash YT publicly then you are not welcome back as a member. I am not saying that you can't offer constructive criticim but I think admin could judge what is constructive and what is simply hateful, mean and uncalled for. |

Constructive criticism is welcome everywhere..."Bashing" this forum elsewhere shouldn't be tolerated...Especially by any active members here... Again, this is JUST MY OPINION... |
this is just me personally, i for one has never said anything publicly "bad" about yorkietalk anywhere. if i said "anything" about yorkietalk it's nothing that i haven't posted here. i don't hate yt, i just feel that it's changed over the last month, and i don't feel it's changed for the better, do i hope it will get better? yes, i enjoy yorkietalk minus all the drama, and favortism, that "I" feel goes on. just my personal opinion. |
Just make it a pay forum and by invitation only and then you can limit membership to those people you like. |
Thank you for your feedback, but we can not control what goes on at other forums, nor do we have the time to monitor every other Yorkie forum's posts. If people want to express their opinions about YorkieTalk, positively or negatively, at other forums, that is fine by us. We can't control them, we only enforce the rules of YorkieTalk here at our community. If you see someone post negatively about YT, then you yourself can decide what kind of person they are. You do not need to inform YorkieTalk about it. YorkieTalk was founded as a FREE forum to share information, learn from one another, and talk about Yorkies. It will always continue to stay that way and be completely FREE. We do not ever plan on making people pay to be on YorkieTalk. Our goal is to help people when it comes to Yorkies. If people think YorkieTalk is worthwhile and want to donate and help keep YorkieTalk running, that is always appreciated. But Donating Members do not get any preferential treatment. Our community is open to everyone that is a Yorkie lover, it does not matter what age, race, religion, or sex you may be. We at YorkieTalk do not condone badmouthing of other forums in any posts here. But feel free to rant about family, significant others, bosses, co-workers, or anything else that is upsetting to you in our Off Topic forum. :) |

   I'm sticking around too. This place has been *invaluable* to me during the search and purchase of both my Yorkies. Everytime I need help, folks have rushed to give me answers and advice. I plan on staying here and paying it forward to the newbies! |
To PLAY Devils Advocate - Some people need to let off steam - many do it in different ways. People are free to post wherever they want and while I do not agree with bashing...the net is a place where people can express all different things. THIS THREAD is kind of bashing in itself don't you think ? Why would anyone feel they can control things outside this forum ? In my opinion ...what goes happens on any kind of board will be discussed if there are many people involved - it's only human nature. ps. I have not bashed yorkietalk by the way. But I do admit to joking about recent dramas. |
I also wanted to add....Can we ALL go back to being adults and talking about yorkies ?....This post served no purpose except to make people wonder what's being talked about on the net - I for one was really was hoping that all this would be dropped. LIFE is too important to worry about so many silly things |
