Picture profile help I notice some members have 3 or 4 rotating pictures on your profile. I have an album set up. But how do you get more than one picture to show on your profile. :D Thanks |
Welcome to YT! It's called an Avatar, there so many nice members here who might be willing to make you a really nice one. |
HI, Thanks.. I tried messing with the Avatar as well. When I chose the Avatar my profile picture disappeared, i figured they were the same thing. hehe..... I looked at it again, just haven't been able to figure it out. :( |
I have a program to make them. It's a free download - Photoscape. You can email me some pictures and I'm happy to do one for you if you don't want to download the program. PM me and I'll get you my email address!!! :) |
Thanks You are the greatest Missiemiss.. Thanks for your help! Now if I can figure out how to do it on my own...LOL |

This link gives information on how to create an animated gif, to use as an avatar. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ng-avatar.html. One of the things it tell you is the size limits. For non-donating members it's 75x75 pixels and the overall file size can be no bigger than 20 KB, that translates to about 4 or 5 pictures. Your profile picture is different than your avatar picture, and is displayed on your profile page. Here too you can use an animated gif, but for this, the size is 200 by 200 pixels and 58.6 KB. The information on size is given on the pages where you upload the avatar or profile picture. |
Here's a real simple one made with the Photoscape program, you could also add details such as frames, and lettering to the pictures if you like, but this is the proper size. Just click on the link, wait for it to move, and save it to your computer, and then upload it as your avatar. Click here for avatar |
Thank you Hi Nancy 1999, for some reason i wasn't notified of your response. :) I have now saved your moving avatar info, now I just need to review it. I really appreciate you and missymiss for all your help. You guys are great! There's alot of really nice people on this site. :thumbs up |
