Admin/Anyone Help w/graphics showing I'm probably not going to explain this well, so hopefully the test will show what my question really is? Anyone know why this would change for me? I was able to post graphics before & the picture itself would show rather than the address: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tes...ing-123-a.html But now, it only shows the text address. I did notice that @the bottom of screen it shows: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is Off ?HTML code is Off Trackbacks are On Pingbacks are On Refbacks are Off |
Hope ya get help... anne |

I think it's because of this size, very small pictures won't post in the thread, only as links. I've tried to post non-contributing members avatars to them, and it can only be done in a link. You could try making it bigger and see if it works. |
Oh, I just noticed that has not been uploaded as an attachment, you can't post anything but attachments that you have uploaded from your computer to one of the forum threads, the particular picture could be posted on someone's profile page. |
1 Attachment(s) This is how it would work as an attachment. |

There are several ways to do it. Press advanced on profile page, than click on the little thing that looks like a folded yellow envelope, if you point at it, it will say "insert image," it will automatically come up with a box the first letters being "http", erase everything in the box and paste your address, press save and a picture should apear. The second way is a little more complex, but some people think it's easier, here's the actual address: http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/370/370979wjrpdsxaxp.gif Paste this in someone profile page and go advanced. It will automatically insert [URL] before and after the address and make a link, like this: [url]http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/370/370979wjrpdsxaxp.gif[/url] Where it says "url" you replace the letters with "IMG" as I have done here, at the beginning and at the end. [IMG]http://dl9.glitter-graphics.net/pub/370/370979wjrpdsxaxp.gif[/IMG], press "save", and it will show up as a picture instead of a link on someone's profile page. |
