Multiple quotes in post? How?
 
:confused:Could someone tell me how I put multiple quotes in one post please? I have seen it done, but it's just not "clicking" to me on how to do it;)

Copy one post....then click quote on the other....manually type in [ quote=username ] then paste the post you copied then close with [ /quote]
No spaces in the brackets though...left them like that so you could read what was written.

Alaskayorkie taught me that...well actually he made up a quote using my name....took me FOREVER to figure out how he did that. You could really get in trouble...really really. LOL :D

I'll never remember that. :) I always thought you quoted one, go copy another one and then edit your post and paste in the second quote

Well dang...you're right...if you open the quote box....copy the entire thing...that works too. I just copy it direct from the thread....and type the html code manually.

I usually just hit the quote button or cut and paste. I didn't even know you could quote multiples, or thought to quote multiples until I saw it a couple of days ago

This is how I do it:

I click on Quote for the first one. Copy it. Then I go back and click quote on the next one. Then I past the first one in there. If you have a lot of Quotes, I just open a second browser page and go to the post and pate them in. Then it could look like this:

Wow, you all doing it a long winded way :rolleyes:

I hit "quote" to get one in my new post, then scroll down below the box you type in, hightlight the text of the next person I want to quote, copy it, then click the "quote" button on the edit box, (second row, last button), click between the two codes to quote and then paste. You can still add the name by adding " =username "

Does that make sense or do you want pictures? lol :p

That's how I do it too.
If you type in the code manually, you don't get the little arrow next to the quoted username to bring you back to the post you just quoted.
