PM box acting up
 
Hi Admin

My PM box is being strange. When I send a message, it still says 0 unconfirmed as though the message wasn't sent. They are going through but there is no record of it in my box. It's not a huge deal but just thought you would want to know.:)

That is very odd that confirmations are being handled in that manner. We will look into it and try to fix it.

It does appear that PMs are going through to the intended recipient however, so don't worry about that. :)

Yep......it just happened to me too.......my recipient will probably get my message at least a couple of times if they are truely going through.:p

We have just upgraded the YorkieTalk forum software. The default 'Request a read receipt for this message' which is listed underneath Additional Options is now Not Checked, so that may be the reason why it says 0 Unconfirmed.

Try to send a message and checkmark that 'Request a read receipt for this message' box and see if that works. :)

I am having problems today also. Under the your notiifications it says I have one unread pm even though I have read it and hit refresh What do I need to do. I sent out a pm also so I hope it went through. It also say my box is 99 % full even though I deleted about 8 old pms.

Also I dont see where you can put someone on your ignore list anymore. Is that function gone? Thank you in advance for your reply

I noticed the same thing when I sent a PM this morning. I guess it's because I didn't check the box since it used to be a default.

It is most likely due to your Sent Meesages. Go to Private Messages here:

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/private.php

Then click on Jump to Folder and select Sent Items, then click Go. If you clear out your sent messages, you should have 100% space available to you.

The Ignore List is still available. It is under Settings & Options as "Edit Ignore List" on the left side in your User Control Panel:

Go under User CP, and look under the heading Options & Settings. I see the option to edit ignore list.

I just now discovered that we're no longer able to get the PM confirmations. MY last confirmed one was on 3/30. I liked that about YT.:thumbup: I hope we can get that back.

PM confirmations still do work, they are not automatic anymore, to save space and server resources. To request a read receipt, under Additional Options (below the PM box), checkmark the Request a read receipt for this message box, before you send the message.
