I just noticed the Yorkie..... in the address bar! Do I win a prize? Just kidding! :D That is so cool! How long has it been there? |
The one to the left of Yorkie talk.com?? I'ts been there as long as Ive been here. |
oooook interesting........ |
what yorkie ?? yoda ?? |
Lol Yep...and it has green eyes....lol must be a silky coat! :p |
You win the prize of knowing that you were the first one to notice it and post about it! ;) It's a favicon (originally made by Aimee). If you add YorkieTalk to your favorites in Internet Explorer, you will see the icon. For Opera or Firefox users, you should see it everytime in the address bar when you are on YT. Not sure about Mac Safari folks, sorry! |

Could it be us users of internet explorer? |
I have been looking but I dont see one. I do see the one at the top of this page. |
It doesn't work on Safari or Firefox (Mac). It's just a little globe. :( |
not seeing it either and I'm using I.E. |
Okay, here ya go, found this information for all y'all that wanna see Aimee's little Yorkie favicon creation! :) --- Browser Issues: Microsoft IE 6 for Windows will not display the favicon until the URL has been added to the favorites, and Safari for the MAC will not display an updated favicon until the browser cache has been cleared. But choosing ‘empty cache’ from the menu won't help because Safari stores favicons in a separate cache. You must empty the icon cache yourself. Look for it in User>Library>Safari>Icons. http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tuto...r/favicon.html |
Yea, well that didn't work for me. I did a Google and came up with this suggestion: "Earlier we had recommended, deleting the existing bookmark(s), clear all your cache, reset your computer, return to page and bookmark, however, users said they got mixed results." http://www.iconarchive.com/html/faq....aviconbookmark Gonna try it now because for some reason I've become obsessed about this. |
Bah, it didn't work. So many have problems with this. There's a couple of programs that retrieve missing favicons. I noticed a mention of needing all caps for the favicon in the source code. Phooey. I just don't care anymore. Gonna play a little Warcraft now and kill a Horde player. That should make me feel complete, heh. |
Well I have Internet Explorer, it is in my favorite and I still do not see the yorkie on my address bar! |
Yea, it's Internet Explorer 6 (the current version) that is still VERY flaky about this sort of thing. Even my Tech Admin Hubby says so. Hey, maybe, the favicon could also be set as a "smiley"? How many of these little graphics has Aimee made anyways? Have always liked the :aimeeyork |
I still cannot see it! I want to see the YORKIE! |
yorkielovebug :aimeeyork :) I noticed the yorkie picture on yorkietalk, but thought everyone else knew it was there. The tiny face is so small. yorkielovebug.com :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
