I have been having problems since Monday when I try to post pics or upload a new avatar. I wanted to do a new avatar since I became a donating member since it can be bigger;) But whenever I try to do either i.e. post pics or avatar it will act like it is doing it but it never gets "done" at the bottom of the page it will say: sending request to Yorkietalk.com then just sits there and tries with no success. I eventually have to close it out. Any suggestions?

Also, would anyone be willing to make me a flashing avatar i their spare time once i get this glitch figured out??:)

That is odd. We have had no other reports of problems with avatars lately. Do you know what the filesize is of the file you are trying to upload? The Donating Member avatar limit is 125 by 125 pixels and 50kb in file size. Anything bigger may be rejected by the server.

I pop in occasionally to my CP and try it. well I had 1 successful time, lol! But it was with the wrong pic for my avatar. When i tried it right after to change it to the right one it wouldn't do it. I'm going to check the file sizes right now.

Actually, I'm glad to see this come up. The avatar page says:

I've been way confused, when creating avatars that were much lower in file size than 40kb, yet people could not get them to load. :confused:

well it must be something on my end. I went into my photobucket to try and load them there and resize them. I wasn't able to upload any pics in there either for some reason. Thanks for your help, I am going to try and see whats going on, though i am sooo not computer saavy!:p

Your profile picture is the picture displayed on your profile page, your avatar is the picture displayed next to your posts on the forum. You have uploaded a profile picture, I think what you need now is to upload an avatar and to do that click on this link. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pro...?do=editavatar. You find it by going to User CP and look for "Edit Avatar".
