Sutures/Stitches? So I took Bella in on Monday to have her spay and everything went great, the only thing I am concerned about is her sutures/stitches. The advised me to keep an eye on her so that she does not start licking them or scratch them causing irriatation and problems with healing. They said if she does so, I would have to bring her in for one of those cone heads, which I really do not want to do. Today I have noticed that Bella is showing more interest down there and I do not want her to start causing herself problems. What do you all recommend so she leaves the sutures alone, anything work in the past with your babeis? Thanks for the ideas and help! |
Putting baby onsies on them helps |
Thanks;) I will try that... |
It worked, I did it with Sammy. I got a newborn onesie at Carters for $5. It was hard to find a "skinny" one though. Lots of them were really wide, probably to fit over a diaper. I don't know, I don't have kids yet. But they sure looked at me funny holding onesies up to my 6lb dog. |

The Gerber brand are very, very tiny. Do you cut a hole for the tail? |

The Gerber premies should do the job. Good luck. |
Ellie got an e-collar tonight and I hated the idea. I asked the vet if we could use onesies instead and she said sure. What a relief that is.:) |
