Ellie is getting spayed tomorrow
 
and I am sooooooo worried.:( I really don't want to do this. I know that she will be in the best of care but I am still so concerned.

She will be fine. The first day may be a little rough but ask the vet for some pain pills for her. Also do you know if she is having internal or external sutures???? I prefer the inside ones; seem to heal faster. They really spring back quick so don't worry too much.

I hear you.
I was nervous about my Momiji's spay last July but it went really well.
I pray for Ellie's safe surgery and quick recovery!!

By tomorrow afternoon you will be completely relieved and wonder what you worried about. Ellie is going to do great!:thumbup: We will keep her in our thoughts!

I don't know what kind of sutures. Yes, she will be on pain med. In fact, her vet gets very upset when owners decline the offer. I am not too worried about the healing. I am worried about the anesthesia. She was just under in January though and did fine.

My Bella just went under for her spay yesterday and she did great, I picked her up this morning and she was so happy to see me, she looks a bit tired and keeps laying her head on my chest (so cute) but other than that she is doing really well.

Ellie will do great, I know it is hard not to be worried, but just try to relax...;) Before you know it, she will be home and running around like normal!! You and Ellie will be in my thoughts!

ALL kinds of good thoughts coming your way! Marcel just got neutered 2 Saturdays ago and it went perfectly! But I was so worried, esp. w/ him being so small.

No one could be as scared as I was, it was my first time getting a pet spayed, BELIEVE ME, there is nothing to it. Tricksie came home and didn't know anything had happened to her. Just had to keep her from licking.:lovewings :lovewings

Reece was neutered last week and I was terrified...but he is back to his normal self..they gave him a shot of pain relief but he came home with no pain pills...he couldnt jump or anything for a few days but is back to his normal self now...dont worry it will all be fine!!

As I said in my post about Gemma being spayed today, I'm saying prayers for your Ellie too! I am a wreck also!! I've been through this several times but it doesn't get any easier! And Gemma is barely 3 lbs!
Keep us posted when you get the call!! You will be done before we will! Stand tough mommy! We're here for you!

Ellie is in surgery now. The vet decided she should do a liver biopsy while she is in there. I wasn't going to do one since I wanted this vet to do the surgery and I didn't know she does biopsies. Well, she should be done within an hour and still gets to come home tonight.:)

YAY! Both our babies did great!! Glad she did so good! Tomorrow they will both want to be running around - but they can't! LOL!
